Director: Bringing Type-0 West Was a ‘Very Important Thing’

In a recent interview, Final Fantasy XV and Final Fantasy Type-0 HD Director Hajime Tabata admitted to being surprised by the amount of fan demand for the PSP game to get a western release.

"I was very surprised by the level of demand. In a lot of ways, that's the reason we decided to do this HD remaster and release it outside of Japan," Tabata told Square Enix Community Manager Dan Seto. Tabata went on to explain his feelings on how important the fulfillment of fan demand was, saying he doesn't "think there's been any example where Square Enix has gone out and released a game purely on demand and the calls of the fans of the game. Brutalities Return to Mortal Kombat X

Brutalities are coming to Mortal Kombat X, Netherrealm revealed today in a livestream.

In a short demo between fighters Cassie Cage and Quan Chi, Cage pounced on her foe and pounded him senseless before smashing his head into a pile of red goop.

Netherrealm says there are over 100 brutalities in the game. Unlike in previous games, brutalities aren't triggered by long, complicated button presses. They are enabled by certain conditions, such as winning a round with a throw.

Co-creator of Mortal Kombat, Ed Boon, teased brutalities on Twitter a few days ago.
