Xbox One players Will Get Their Hands on Shovel Knight too
Shovel Knight and Wasteland 2 will make the jump to Xbox One via the ID@Xbox program, Microsoft has revealed. Additionally, crowdfunded survival sim The Flame in the Flood will make its "console debut" on Microsoft's system.
They are among the more than 50 ID@Xbox games in development listed in a new Xbox Wire post, including some that were previously announced. Another newly unveiled game for Xbox One is Magic Duels: Origins, a free-to-play edition of the collectible card game that will also make its console debut on the system.
Long-Awaited Halo: Master Chief Collection Patch Arrives
343 Industries has released its big update for Halo: The Master Chief Collection designed to finally lay a majority of the title's matchmaking issues to rest.
The blog on Halo Waypoint explains you'll be asked to download the update next time you boot up your console, and early indications suggest it's helped players.
343 originally said it would opt for MCC beta testing due to "the scale of the update" and "to ensure the official release is the best possible experience for all players." This was later rethought.

Nintendo of Japan has announced it's holding a Nintendo Direct this Friday focusing on Xenoblade Chronicles X.
The presentation will apparently focus on the upcoming RPG's battle system and takes place at 5am PT / 8am ET / 1pm GMT. We've reached out to Nintendo to see if we should expect the company's European and American arms to follow suit or not.
This is the second Direct focusing on Xenoblade Chronicles X. The first, broadcast on February 6, revealed the title will feature online questing for up to four people, with an 'indirect' online experience for 32 players also included.

How the District 9 Director Got the Alien Gig
In January of this year the internet went into meltdown when Neill Blomkamp – director of District 9, Elysium and the forthcoming Chappie – posted concept art for an Alien movie he had been working on in secret.
Then in February it was announced that not only would Blomkamp get to make the movie, but that the sci-fi sequel would be his next project.
So when he stopped by the IGN UK podcast to talk Chappie – the results of which can be heard this Friday – we asked Blomkamp about his love of the first two Alien movies, his plans for the franchise, and the influence that Alien: Isolation might have on his efforts.
Every Announcement from Nvidia’s GDC Event
PC gamers and virtual-reality enthusiasts got a bit of a surprise during Nvidia’s Tuesday night GDC press conference: instead of a souped-up graphics card or a VR headset, the GPU maker announced the addition of an Android-based console to their lineup of Shield devices.
If you missed our livestream of the event, we’ve pulled together all the details on the new Shield (yes, they’ve gone back to calling their latest product just “Shield”) and its related services for you right here.
The new Shield is more of a hybrid between a set-top box and a console than a true iteration of each. (At least, when compared to what currently exists on the market.) With the exception of its beefy Tegra X1 processor, which sports a 256-bit Maxwell GPU with 3GB of memory, it largely mimics the specs of other Android set-top boxes: at the back is a MicroSD slot, a Micro USB 2.0 port, two USB Type-A 3.0 ports, gigabit Ethernet port, and HDMI port. Internally, it supports Bluetooth 4.1 and dual-band 801.11ac Wi-Fi connections, and can pump out 7.1 and 5.1 surround sound over HDMI. It also has an IR receiver, which Nvidia specifically noted is compatible with Logitech Harmony remotes.
SHIELD Cast and Producers on All the New Secrets
Note: Full spoilers for the Agents of SHIELD midseason premiere, “Aftershocks,” follow.
There are a lot of secrets being kept on Marvel’s Agents of SHIELD, as the midseason premiere found more than one duo bonding over information they were keeping from the rest of the team.
On a recent visit to the show’s set, the cast and executive producers spoke about these plotlines and where they could be going.
Now that we know Bobbi and Mack are up to something truly suspicious, and trying to gain access to the material Nick Fury gave to Coulson, it’s hard not to jump to the big H word – Hydra.
Asked if we should make that assumption, Adrianne Palicki replied, “I don't think you should assume anything, honestly. I think that Mack and Bobbi, they do have a secret, but whatever they're doing they think is the right thing. So it's not necessarily malicious, but you have to keep an open mind.”

Nvidia Is Launching A Console

The Nvidia Shield offers 10-bit processing and will be able to receive 4K, 60 hertz video “very soon.” The living room entertainment device also packs Android TV functionality so users can access a library of movies.
