Win This Blizzard Tournament to Pay Off College Tution
Blizzard Entertainment and TeSPA have announced Heroes of the Dorm — a Heroes of the Storm tournament offering MOBA-savvy students a chance to win free tuition for the rest of their college career.
Heroes of the Dorm is open to both undergrad and graduate students enrolled in colleges across North America. Each member of the tournament's winning team will receive up to $25,000 per year to go towards college tuition, or in the case of soon-to-be grads, paying off student loans.
“College sports do great things for student athletes—they help pay for schooling, build teamwork and communication skills, and create lasting memories,” said Blizzard CEO and cofounder Mike Morhaime. “We believe eSports has the same kind of power, and this tournament aims to bring positive experiences like these to college gamers.”

Movie Insurers May Clip Harrison Ford’s Wings
Following his plane crash in Venice, Calif., on Friday, it's quite possible Harrison Ford will not be allowed to pilot planes while he's also working on movies.
Insurance execs and risk management consultants speaking with the Los Angeles Times claim it's quite probable that movie insurers will stipulate that Ford -- who suffered injuries when the vintage plane he was flying alone crash-landed on a golf course -- not be allowed to fly planes while also in production on a film.

How Back to the Future 2 Influenced Final Fantasy 15
In the Final Fantasy XV World Building panel at PAX East 2015, we learned that the much-anticipated RPG drew influence from an unexpected source: Back to the Future Part II.
The panel focused on world design, and was led by two of XV's lead game designers. Wan Hazmer, who leads the Buddy team focused on the interactions you'll have with your AI pals, and Prasert Prasertvithyakarn, head of the Culture team working on the civilizations and towns that you visit throughout the game. The latter of the two brought up Robert Zemeckis' incredible sequel.
During the panel, the pair explained that a goal of the team was to go all in on the road trip theme, which includes peppering the world with memorable checkpoints. Prasertvihyakam explained that these towns walk a balance between delivering culture shock of something new, while still being rooted in familiar culture, much like how Back to the Future Part II's depiction of 2015 was handled.

3 Hours With Final Fantasy 15’s Ferocious Combat
NOTE: For more hands-on impressions of Final Fantasy XV, check out Luke Karmali's preview.
Final Fantasy XV: Episode Duscae gives us a brief glimpse of the possibility in Square Enix's eventual open world role-playing game, but the demo isn't just a simple sample of what's to come. Duscae is a deep, rewarding exploration of a gorgeous world, a group of friends, and Final Fantasy XV's complex and challenging combat.
This is what IGN Editors Mitch Dyer and Marty Sliva came away with after hours inside Final Fantasy XV.
I have never loved the Final Fantasy series -- I'm very particular about JRPGs, turn-based combat, and magical worlds, and while the series has done plenty of respectable and interesting things, I've never fallen for any Final Fantasy game. Final Fantasy XV: Episode Duscae is the first one I've instantly adored.
