Nathan Fillion, Alan Tudyk Reunite for Indiegogo Campaign
You can't stop the signal! Former Firefly stars Alan Tudyk and Nathan Fillion have launched a campaign on Indiegogo for a brand new web series titled Con Man.
The series, written and directed by Tudyk, is a lighthearted take on the personalities, luminaries, comic book stores, and characters both Tudyk and Fillion have run into during their years in the sci-fi community and convention circuit, while telling the story of a sci-fi actor learning to love and embrace his fans.
PlayStation Mobile to Close Later This Year
Sony is to shutter its PlayStation Mobile service from September 10, 2015.
Distribution of the service will cease on July 15, 2015. However, after September 10, all in-app purchases will grind to a halt, as will the ability to re-download purchased content.
As for access to content after September 10, users will need to manually activate their PS Vita online. Previously, content was automatically authenticated when the device connected to the Internet, but that will no longer happen.
Thankfully, Sony has outlined the procedure for anyone not familiar with how to activate a device online.

Naughty Dog confirmed earlier this year that Uncharted 4 will have a multiplayer mode.

Kirby and the Rainbow Paintbrush Gets a Release Date
Kirby and the Rainbow Paintbrush is heading to Wii U on May 8 for Europe, and May 9 for Australia.
Named Kirby and the Rainbow Curse in North America, the game originally released in Japan in January, and up until now, Nintendo had indicated that the EU and AU release would happen at some point in the second quarter of 2015.
In terms of multiplayer, up to three players can hop in at any time to assist Kirby by using a Wii Remote to play as Waddle Dees. On the Amiibo front, if you’ve got either Kirby, King Dedede, or Meta Knight, each can be used once per day to unlock special abilities. Plopping Kirby on the GamePad unlocks unlimited Star Dash for one stage, King Dedede grants Kirby a hat and an additional two extra health bars, while Meta Knight gives Kirby a mask which lets him use a type of dash to blast through weaker enemies.
Liam Neeson: Action Hero
This feature was originally published in 2012.
Liam Neeson has spent years cultivating a reputation as one of the top rugged action heroes in Hollywood. Sure, he's known for his dramatic roles too, but sometimes we just want to see him hunt down some bad guys and punch them in the face. Ideally, Neeson's movies offer a little bit of both elements.
Seeing as how he's back in action this week in Run All Night, we've decided to look back on Neeson's long career and pick out his 10 best action roles. While these aren't necessarily his best films, they're the ones that do the greatest job of highlighting Liam Neeson: Action Hero.
Seraphim Falls is, in many ways, a throwback to the gritty Westerns of the 1960s and their themes of violence and revenge. Neeson plays a man named Carver, who single-mindedly pursues Pierce Brosnan's Gideon across the desert. Much like Ahab, Carver is a man consumed by his desire for revenge, and viewers are constantly forced to question which of the two men is the real villain. It was a nice change considering that Neeson so often plays the tragic hero figure. Unfortunately, both actors struggle to mask their accents for most of the movie, ruining the drama a bit.

“Top Gear will not be broadcast this Sunday.
“The BBC will be making no further comment at this time.”
The BBC report goes on to quote BBC News special correspondent Lucy Manning who said sources had confirmed reports Clarkson was suspended for “allegedly hitting a producer” during an incident believed to have happened last week.

Australia to Trial New, Free Classification System for Online Games
Minister for Justice Michael Keenan has announced that Australia will soon commence a year-long trial of a new classification tool that will allow developers to get mobile and online games rated without needing to submit them to the Australian Classification Board.
Keenan confirmed that Australia has joined the International Age Rating Coalition (IARC), a partnership of government and industry content classification agencies from around the world, including the United States, Canada, Europe, and Brazil.
As a result, Australia is now preparing to trial the use of the IARC’s new tool for classifying games. The IARC rating tool is an online questionnaire where developers answer a series of questions about content. Based on these responses the IARC tool assigns the most appropriate rating from various territories around the world, and digital storefronts automatically display the correct rating information for each territory.
This Liquid Metal Thinks for Itself
A new self-powered liquid metal motor could be bringing us all one step closer to a real-life T-1000.
New Scientist explains the device: "just a drop of metal alloy made mostly of gallium – which is liquid at just under 30 °C – with some indium and tin mixed in. When placed in a solution of sodium hydroxide, or even brine, and kept in contact with a flake of aluminium for 'fuel', it moves around for about an hour. It can travel in a straight line, run around the outside of a circular dish, or squeeze through complex shapes."
