Ant-Man Is the Latest Marvel Superhero to Join Fortnite

Ant-Man is the latest Marvel superhero to arrive in Fortnite, and the teases leading up to his arrival were a tiny bit hilarious. The Fortnite Team announced that Ant-Man will be arriving in the Item Shop alongside the Toothpick Pickaxe and Ant-Man's trusty steed, Ant-Tonio, as Back Bling. While Ant-Man joining Fortnite is a wonderful thing on its own, the teases leading up to his official announcement were just as great. Fortnite's Twitter shared three different images of small Ant-Man on other Marvel characters, including Cable, Blade, and Captain America. You can see all the images in the slideshow below. [widget path="global/article/imagegallery" parameters="albumSlug=fortnite-ant-man-tease-and-official-reveal&captions=true"] Ant-Man is the latest Marvel superhero to join Fortnite, and the latest pop culture crossover character since Ripley and the Xenomorph from the Alien franchise. This addition is surely a welcome one for fans of Ant-Man, who have to wait until 2022 to see Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania. Paul Rudd, Evangeline Lilly, Michael Douglas, Michelle Pfeiffer, Michael Peña are all returning for the third Ant-Man film, with Peyton Reed once again directing. It has been reported that Lovecraft Country star Jonathan Majors has been cast in a major villain role, and their sources claim he will be playing Kang the Conqueror. Her Elemental Burst allows her to attack with a mighty slash, causing massive Cryo damage and summoning a frigid Ice Lance that deals continuous Cryo damage to nearby enemies." Watch Dogs Legion Online Co-Op Delayed on PC

Watch Dogs Legion's online co-op mode was set to launch on all platforms on March 9, 2021, but PC players will have to wait a bit longer due to a game crashing issue that has caused a new delay. Ubisoft shared the news on Twitter, saying that the PC version of this new mode can cause the game to crash for players with certain GPUs. The team is working on the fix "as quickly as possible" and will communicate the new date as soon as it can. [ignvideo url="https://www.ign.com/videos/2021/02/22/watch-dogs-legion-online-co-op-preview"] While online co-op will still launch for PlayStation, Xbox, and Stadia on March 9, the raid-like Tactical Operations will now be released on March 23, 2021. Additionally, PS5 and PS4 players will have to deal with "limited in-game text chat" until March 23. We recently got to preview Watch Dogs Legion's online co-op modes, and said "The co-op missions remind me a lot of Assassin’s Creed Unity’s approach to friendly multiplayer, in that they are effectively identical to the fare you find in the main campaign, just redesigned with more participants in mind." [ignvideo url="https://www.ign.com/videos/2021/02/22/watch-dogs-legion-online-co-op-preview"] In our Watch Dogs Legion review, we said its "bold use of roguelike mechanics in an open-world action game pays off in interesting ways, making this visit to near-future London feel more varied than the previous two games." The creators of Stranger Things have found their next project for Netflix. The Duffer Brothers are collaborating with Steven Spielberg's Amblin Television and Paramount Television Studios to adapt Stephen King's The Talisman for the streaming platform, per The Hollywood Reporter. Curtis Gwinn, a writer and executive producer on Stranger Things, will serve as showrunner on the project. The Talisman was written by Stephen King and Peter Straub. The fantasy novel follows a teenage boy named Jack Sawyer searching for the Talisman, an object that can heal his dying mother and save the world. [ignvideo url="https://www.ign.com/videos/2019/07/06/what-will-happen-in-stranger-things-season-4"] Spielberg purchased the screen rights for The Talisman in 1982, 2 years before the book was even published. In 2019, Mike Barker, a frequent director on The Handmaid's Tale, was involved in adapting the work into a feature. The Duffer Brothers are currently busy working on Season 4 of Stranger Things, which is expected to premiere later this year. The series has expanded its cast for the next season, nabbing actors like A Nightmare on Elm Street's Robert Englund and Game of Thrones' Tom Wlaschiha. Xbox Is Working to Resolve Unresponsive Controller Button Issue

According to reports online, some players are experiencing unresponsive buttons on their Xbox Series X|S controllers, and Microsoft is already looking to fix this issue. As reported by sites like PC Gamer, some players have experienced an issue where pressing a button on the Xbox controller will not result in an action. This issue appears to affect players using the Xbox controller on both consoles and PC, apparently. Microsoft has issued a statement to IGN saying it is investigating the issue and working on a fix. Check out the full statement below:
“At Microsoft, we put all of our products through rigorous quality assurance testing and are committed to providing customers with an unparalleled gaming experience. We are aware some players may be experiencing unresponsiveness with their new Xbox Wireless Controllers and our teams are actively working on a solution. For the best experience, we encourage customers to visit Xbox Support for assistance.”
Users are starting to share their experiences with faulty controllers online. One player tells The Loadout that the "Y" button is the one primarily malfunctioning for them. [widget path="global/article/imagegallery" parameters="albumSlug=confirmed-xbox-series-x-games&captions=true"] It's unclear what the cause of the issue is, and until Microsoft announces an official fix, it's hard to say what temporary fixes are available to players. The Xbox controller is the latest console hardware to face issues. The Nintendo Switch has a long recorded history of faulty Joy-Cons, with issues ranging from disconnecting controllers to drift - where the reticle will begin to move on its own without player input. More recently the PlayStation 5 DualSense has also been found to experience cases of drift. You can check out everything we know about DualSense drift here. [poilib element="accentDivider"] Matt T.M. Lola Bunny Lives in the World of Wonder Woman in Space Jam: A New Legacy

In Space Jam: A New Legacy, Lola Bunny has found some new, powerful friends in an unexpected place: The Wonder Woman universe. In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, director Malcolm D. Lee says that Lola Bunny will initially appear in A New Legacy hanging out with the Amazons from Wonder Woman, just one of multiple WB film property worlds that will be on display in the new Space Jam story. Lola will initially be reluctant to rejoin her old basketball team despite being their best player. "We wanted to meet her with the Amazons, trying to find greener pastures for herself," said Lee. "As she says in the movie, there's more to her than just being a Tune." [ignvideo url="https://www.ign.com/videos/2019/03/27/star-trek-discoverys-sonequa-martin-green-joins-space-jam"] This comes as part of a larger move to reconsider Lola's character after two and a half decades, with Lee also saying he wants to make her less defined by her sexuality, as she was in the original film. "This is 2021," he said. "It's important to reflect the authenticity of strong, capable female characters. [Lola] probably has the most human characteristics of the Tunes; she doesn't have a thing like a carrot or a lisp or a stutter. So we reworked a lot of things, not only her look, like making sure she had an appropriate length on her shorts and was feminine without being objectified, but gave her a real voice. "For us, it was, let's ground her athletic prowess, her leadership skills, and make her as full a character as the others." Space Jam: A New Legacy just saw its first images revealed earlier this week, including LeBron James in action as well as a 3D animated Bugs Bunny. It's planned for a simultaneous streaming release on HBO Max and in theatres on July 16. [poilib element="accentDivider"] Rebekah Valentine is a news reporter for IGN.
