Arc System Works has announced that Guilty Gear Strive will be released on April 9, 2021, on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and PC. For those who wish to upgrade to the Deluxe or Ultimate Edition, the game will be playable from April 6, 2021.

This fighting game boasts a striking visual style with hybrid 2D/3D cell-shaded graphics. There will also be a fully voiced story mode that is said to bring the story of Guilty Gear, which spans over 20 years, to a close. There will also be new characters joining fan favorites and a robust rollback net code.
Guilty Gear Strive was originally set to be released in 2020, but it was delayed to 2021 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The roster includes such characters as Sol Badguy, Ky Kiske, May, Faust, Potemkin, Chipp Zanuff, Zato-1, Millia Rage, and Axl Low. As part of our IGN Expo, we revealed that Ramlethal Valentine will be returning to Guilty Gear Strive, a female fighter who specializes in controlling the mid-range, and uses two large swords as her primary weapons (carried by her flying Luciferos partners).

Gal Gadot Playing Queen of Egypt in Cleopatra Movie
With Wonder Woman 1984 now, still tentatively, scheduled to be released in December, star Gal Gadot has signed on to play the lead in Cleopatra, which will once again team her with the director of both Wonder Woman films, Patty Jenkins.
After some squabbling over the rights (reportedly between Apple, Universal, Warner Bros. and Netflix), the project landed at Paramount and, per Variety, will star Gadot as the legendary queen of Egypt. Gadot will follow in the steps of Oscar-winners Claudette Colbert and Elizabeth Taylor, who both once played big screen versions of the role.
Laeta Kalogridis (Shutter Island, Alita: Battle Angel) will write the screenplay.

Disney+ Reorganizes its Marvel Screen, Calls Non-MCU Films “Marvel Legacy Movies”
Almost a year after its launch Disney+ seems to have finally solved the messy interface with regard to its Marvel movies.
The site's superhero movies were previously listed in scattershot fashion but it now looks like a reorganization was done and that non-MCU titles (like X-Men and Fantastic Four) are considered "Marvel Legacy Movies."
The screenshot here (h/t to The Verge) shows you how things are laid out right now on a Disney+ U.S. account...
Not only are the MCU flicks listed by Phase now, but also chronologically (in the MCU timeline).
There are also rows for Marvel Legacy Movies and Marvel Legacy Animated Shows. Fans are, understandably, pleased with the MCU reorg.
User interface is something we took into consideration when reviewing all the streaming services a while back. You can check out our "State of Streaming" reviews for Netflix, Hulu, Amazon Prime, Disney+, and Apple TV+ here.
Speaking of Marvel and streaming, Marvel TV and Hulu gave fans their first look at the upcoming streaming series M.O.D.O.K. -- Marvel's first venture into adult-oriented animated comedy -- at New York Comic Con. The series features the voices of Patton Oswalt, Lucifer's Aimee Garcia, Brooklyn Nine-Nine's Melissa Fumero, and Parks and Rec's Ben Schwartz.

First Clip of The Animaniacs on Hulu
The Animaniacs is coming back as an original animated series for Hulu. The cast and crew gathered at a panel for New York Comic-Con to discuss the return, and how the show’s timely humor got a bit messed up by the 2020 Covid-19 pandemic.
At the digital New York Comic-Con, the Animaniacs revival team held a panel to discuss the upcoming revival for Hulu. The panel included executive producer Wellesley Wild, co-executive producer Gabe Swarr, Yakko and Pinky voice actor Rob Paulsen, Dot voice actor Tress Macneille, Wakko voice actor Jess Harnell, and The Brain voice actor Maurice LaMarche.
[widget path="global/article/imagegallery" parameters="albumSlug=the-25-best-adult-cartoon-tv-series&captions=true"]
The Animaniacs revival was announced in 2018, which was when production officially started for the series. The long lead time means that production on The Animaniacs wasn’t immediately impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic, but some of the writing may have quickly become dated.
“The first thing the writers and I did was we got a list of events and notable happenings coming in 2020 and we wrote to them. And now of course — we wrote a whole segment about the Olympics and lots of things that won’t happen now,” laughed Wild.
“So, we got extra *umphed* by the coronavirus,” Wild added.
However, Wild says that on the whole, the humor of the Animaniacs revival will be similar to fans of the original, with layered jokes that are funny on the surface, but extra funny for some older viewers who will understand the added context. [ignvideo url="https://www.ign.com/videos/2020/09/14/animaniacs-official-sneak-peek-2020"] Aside from the humor, Gabe Swarr says Animaniacs will be visually diverse also. “I was really attracted to the variety show aspect of it. Like putting different ideas in and jam-packing it full,” said Swarr. “Wellesley and I really like a lot of shows that are visually diverse. So we tried to bring that into the show. It feels like the original show was all drawn the same way and our show really breaks that. We try to go, visually, different places.” Swarr credits the current animation landscape and how kids nowadays are exposed to a variety of different animation styles. “Kids nowadays they see all kinds of styles and they’re exposed to all kinds of things. In the 90s, yes there was stuff but not nearly as much stuff as now. So we felt this was the one thing we could bring to the show,” said Swarr. The Animaniacs will premiere on Hulu on November 20, 2020. A second season has been announced for 2021. The Animaniacs Writers Couldn’t Predict the 2020 Pandemic

Here’s What Stormfront Said in German During The Boys’ Season 2 Finale
This article contains full spoilers from The Boys Season 2 finale, titled "What I Know." Be sure to check out our review of The Boys Season 2 finale, our deep dive into who Black Noir really is (at least in the comics), and learn more about Black Noir's surprising weakness.
[poilib element="accentDivider"]
During The Boys' action-packed Season 2 finale, Aya Cash's Stormfront is finally defeated after a power heat vision blast from Homelander's son (Ryan) leaves her burnt, bleeding, and crippled.
While she's lying helpless on the forest floor, Stormfront begins to utter something in German, but what is she saying? In order to answer this question, we asked IGN's very own Peer Schneider, who hails from Germany, to translate what she says before Homelander asks Ryan if he's responsible for what just happened. According to Mr. Schneider, this is what she said:
"Do you remember the day when I stuck my arms out of the car window? We found the perfect spot by the river in the shade of an apple tree. It was the first time..."
IGN also spoke with The Boys' showrunner, Eric Kripke, to learn a bit more context for what Stormfront is referring to here. "She's remembering a time with [Frederick] Vought and her daughter," Kripke informed IGN. "We thought that her pained, wounded, and slightly insane thought would be back to the time she's the happiest. So we wrote a little speech about the moment she was happiest in her life and we translated it in German."
What did you think of the Season 2 finale and what are you excited to see in Season 3? Let us know in the comments section below. As a reward for fans who either registered to vote, or checked to make sure they were registered, actor Jeff Goldblum recreated the now-classic Dr. Ian Malcolm unbuttoned shirt pose from 1993's Jurassic Park.
Of course, you know the pose we're talking about. It's Dr. Malcolm's recuperating, reclining state after the film's legendary T-Rex attack. And the resurgence of the image from a few years back, during arrival of the new Jurassic World films helped Goldblum's pop culture stock rise considerably. There was even a 25-foot tall statue built in London that payed homage to the scene.
Here's "the smolder" from 1993...
Here's the new image, posted by Goldblum to his Instagram account where he thanked those who registered to vote, writing "Nearly 3,000 of you are ready for this November’s election. Here’s your reward...how time flies."
The third film in the franchise's new trilogy, Jurassic World: Dominion, recently paused filming after multiple crew members tested positive for coronavirus (COVID-19).
Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard have returned to resume their Jurassic World lead roles while original Jurassic Park cast members Sam Neill, Jeff Goldblum, and Laura Dern are part of the film as well.
