Microsoft Sent Snoop Dogg an Xbox Series X Fridge for His Birthday

Many have previously joked that the upcoming Xbox Series X resembles a fridge, and now Microsoft has fully embraced the comparison as it has sent an Xbox Series X-shaped fridge to Snoop Dogg. In a now-deleted post by Snoop Dog, that was saved by Wario64, Snoop shows off his new fridge that literally looks like a giant Xbox Series X, complete with a glowing Xbox symbol. What's more, it was filled with an Xbox Series X birthday cake that says "Happy Birthday to the Xbox OG," an actual Xbox Series X, gin and juice in honor of his song, Xbox-themed jewelry, and more. He even ends the video by saying the classic EA Sports tagline - "It's in the game." Snoop Dogg is no stranger to Xbox and video games, as he was recently put into NHL 20 as a playable character and commentator and, in 2013, released his own game - Way of the Dogg - on Xbox Live Arcade, PS3, and mobile platforms. [ignvideo url="https://www.ign.com/videos/2013/05/06/wtf-is-snoop-doggs-xbox-live-arcade-game"] He also recorded a song and music video in honor of Tekken Tag Tournament 2 called Knocc 'Em Down." [ignvideo url="https://www.ign.com/videos/2012/08/02/tekken-tag-tournament-2-snoop-dogg-knocc-em-down-music-video"] Oh, and we can't forget the time he participated in one of our IGN Originals to give fans a look at what Snoop Dogg would like like in some of the most popular games of all-time. [ignvideo url="https://www.ign.com/videos/2010/07/19/ign-originals-snoop-dogg-is-in-your-videogames"] As for the fridge comparisons, it all began when the Xbox Series X was officially revealed. Daniel Ahmad, senior analyst at Niko Partners, tweeted out a joke comparison of the Xbox Series X to the then-unrevealed PlayStation 5 that made it look like a fridge, and this may have helped start what has now brought us a lot of laughs. Following that, Xbox leaned into the joke and even provided a look at an Xbox Series X next to a fridge for scale. Furthermore, it explained why it looks the way it does and why it went with a new look for its upcoming next-gen console. The Xbox Series X, alongside the smaller, less fridge-like Xbox Series S, will both be released on November 10, 2020. Apex Legends’ Switch Version Delayed to 2021

Apex Legends has been delayed on Nintendo Switch to 2021, as the team needs more time to "do justice to the game and make it into the great experience Switch players deserve." At EA Play Live 2020, it was announced the Apex Legends would be one of seven games that EA would be bringing to Switch in 2020. However, due to the ongoing issues surround the COVID-19 pandemic, the team decided to delay the game instead of rushing it out for this year. However, when Apex Legends does arrive on Switch, it will support cross-platform play, the latest seasonal content, and full feature parity with the other version of the game. [ignvideo url="https://www.ign.com/videos/2020/10/22/apex-legends-fight-or-fright-event-2020-trailer"] For those on PC, Apex Legends will officially be released on Steam when Season 7 launches on November 4, 2020. If you had previously been playing on Origin, all of your "account progression and unlocks will carry over between the two platforms." Season 7 will also be launching alongside the new $39.99 USD Champion Edition that includes all Legends up to Season 7, seven exclusive Legendary items, and 1,000 Apex Coins. Additionally, Apex Legends' Fight or Fright event is currently running and will end on November 3, 2020. This new event features the "Shadow Royale" LTM on Kings Canyon After Dark, Halloween-themed cosmetics, and more. [widget path="global/article/imagegallery" parameters="albumSlug=5-of-gamings-craziest-marketing-stunts&captions=true"] For more on Apex Legends, you can see how it performed on a Nvidia Reflex and a 360hz Monitor. No Time to Die Was Reportedly Seeking Streaming Deal to Skip Theaters

MGM has reportedly been exploring the option of bringing No Time to Die, the upcoming James Bond film, to a streaming service for a price of "roughly $600 million." As reported by Variety, Apple, Netflix and other streaming services were looking at acquiring the rights to No Time To Die but, according to mulitple insiders at rival studios and companies, the $600 million price tag was "deemed to rich for two of the free-spending streaming services." No Time To Die is said to cost more than $250 million to produce and has already lined up several promotional partnerships to "defray these costs - including Land Rover, Omega watches, and Heineken." [ignvideo url="https://www.ign.com/videos/2020/09/03/no-time-to-die-official-trailer-2"] These promotional deals would be a huge factor in any deal, as some may not love the idea of the movie not arriving in theaters. Variety gave the example of Coming 2 America's sale to Amazon, which was "contingent on making sure that its promotional partners, McDonald’s and Crown Royal, were on board with the change in plans." It's unclear how far along these talks were and if producers Barbara Broccoli and Michael C. Wilson would sign off on a potential deal. Additionally, Universal Pictures would need to be reimbursed for any expenses the studio incurred during production as it owns the foreign distribution rights to No Time To Die. MGM has allegedly lost between $30-$50 million due to delays, which could be a reason for these discussion, but it isn't willing to comment on these rumors. [widget path="global/article/imagegallery" parameters="albumSlug=james-bond-no-time-to-die-character-posters&captions=true"] “We do not comment on rumors. The film is not for sale. The film’s release has been postponed until April 2021 in order to preserve the theatrical experience for moviegoers,” an MGM spokesperson told Variety. No Time To Die was originally set to be released in April 2020 but has seen multiple delays due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. James Bond's newest adventure is currently set to hit theaters on April 2, 2021. [poilib element="accentDivider"] Have a tip for us? Want to discuss a possible story? Borat 2 Deleted Scene Features Trump, White House Infiltration

A deleted scene from Borat Subsequent Moviefilm featuring President Donald Trump and his, son Donald Trump Jr., has been released online. The scene, which can be viewed below, shows Borat's daughter, aspiring journalist Tutar (played by Maria Bakalova), infiltrating the White House press corps on September 20th accompanying the right-wing media site OAN, a favorite outlet of the President's. President Trump can be seen at a press conference but Tutar never meets him directly. That's not the case, though, with his son who can be seen having a brief cordial encounter with her at a campaign event. Borat's official Twitter account also claims that COVID-19 tests were not required in order for them to enter the White House. In a scene that most certainly was not deleted from the film, Tutar interviews the President's personal attorney Rudy Giuliani who, following their chat, is seen in a compromising position in an adjacent bedroom. A war of words between Sasha Baron Cohen and Rudy Giuliani has followed in the wake of the scene going public. Our Borat Subsequent Moviefilm review said the movie "contains an avalanche of awkward, anxiety-cranking moments that'll have you laughing while watching through your fingers like you would a horror movie. And the film's fantastic find, Maria Bakalova, every bit Sacha Baron Cohen's on-screen equal, is who, and what, most people will be talking about in the wake of this."
