Unannounced Kingdom Hearts Project Seemingly Leaked

Details pertaining to an unreleased Kingdom Hearts game have been discovered in the hidden files of a recently launched website for mobile game Kingdom Hearts: Dark Road. While datamining the Dark Road website, Reddit user Skullboj found a logo (below) for a project called Kingdom Hearts: Melody of Memory, which appears to be unrelated to the forthcoming mobile title. There are many theories swirling online for what this could be - the focus on music might suggest it's a rhythm game, but the yellow colour scheme and allusion to memory visually ties it to Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories, a card-based spin-off that originally launched on the Game Boy Advance back in 2004. Twitter user Vampirically pointed out that the K and the S in the leaked logo are extended, which within the history of Kingdom Hearts title art suggests that this alleged game will not use Sora as the protagonist. There's also a distinct chance that this isn't a game at all - that musical theme could point to this being a new project for the Kingdom Hearts Orchestra. We have contacted Square Enix for comment. [ignvideo url="https://www.ign.com/videos/2019/01/24/kingdom-hearts-3-review"] If there's one thing that's for certain though, it's that the naming scheme for Kingdom Hearts games has always been an unknown quantity, so the game's content is really anyone's guess. In other Kingdom Hearts news, a TV series based on the games is reportedly in development for Disney Plus. You can also check out our review of Kingdom Hearts 3, which we called "a fulfilling evolution" of the franchise. James Gunn Says ‘The Suicide Squad’ Title Was Originally a Joke

While holding a Q&A session on his Instagram, director James Gunn revealed the reason why his upcoming Suicide Squad reboot is called, very simply, The Suicide Squad. As Gunn explained to the fan who asked "Why THE Suicide Squad?": "I brought it up kiddingly once and Warners and the producers liked it. There's not much chance of it changing, but you never know." Check it out... James-Gunn-discussing-The-Suicide-Squad-title-on-Instagram The Suicide Squad will feature returning stars Margot Robbie, Joel Kinnaman, Jai Courtney, and Viola Davis along with new cast members Idris Elba, Pete Davidson, Michael Rooker, Nathan Fillion, Peter Capaldi, Taika Waititi, and John Cena. Production on The Suicide Squad ended back at the end of February, before many TV and film shoots had to be shut down due to the pandemic. Because of this, Gunn stated that he could see no reason for The Suicide Squad's release date to move. But that, of course, could change in the upcoming months. • Contamination Armour - An ancient set of armour created from magic thought lost long ago. Each piece offers resistance to poison, while the entire set grants immunity to poison along with a special ability to spawn exploding spores that will damage enemies in combat.
  • Devourer Armour - A set of armour said to make its wearer almost invincible. In combat, the armour will mark a certain target in range. Any attacks on this target cannot miss and will deal extra damage.

Suicide Squad Director Answers if Joker Originally Pushed Harley Quinn Out of the Helicopter

Over the past few weeks, ever since it was announced that the Snyder Cut of Justice League was headed to HBO Max, Suicide Squad director David Ayer has been answering fan questions online about the original cut of his 2016 DCEU film, which was not only tonally different from the theatrical release but also contained many more scenes featuring Jared Leto's Joker. It's been rumored that in the "Ayer Cut" of Suicide Squad, Joker pushes Harley Quinn from the helicopter after he realizes she doesn't want to escape with him. Instead, Harley longs top head back and help her new friends. Ayer revealed on Twitter that it was true. Joker did push Harley out, but apparently not with the intent to kill her... Meanwhile, it was revealed that, starting July 1, some notable DC movies will be unavailable to watch on HBO Max. Yes, Justice League, Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice, Wonder Woman, Suicide Squad, Batman, Batman Returns, Batman Forever, Batman & Robin, Catwoman, Jonah Hex, and The Losers will all be pulled from rotation as of July 1. An HBO Max spokesperson explained, "We have a collection of DC films that will rotate on the platform. We have a new batch coming in July and then another batch coming in August." The DC movies currently available on HBO Max that will stay in rotation through July are Aquaman, Shazam!, Joker, Green Lantern, and Supergirl. The Witcher Showrunner Says Her Favorite Season 2 Characters are the New Witchers

It might almost be time for Witcher star Henry Cavill to stop painting Warhammer miniatures as the Netflix show's second season is rumored to resume production soon. And with a second season meaning new characters and monsters, showrunner Lauren Schmidt Hissrich spoke to The Wrap about who she was excited to bring to life in upcoming episodes. “Probably my favorite additions for Season 2 are the new witchers,” Hissrich explained. “Really, in Season 1, we got to know Geralt and he’s our prime example of a witcher. And then there is one other witcher, Remus, who we meet in Episode 103, who quickly dies. So it was, for us really, about getting Geralt back to his roots and sort of learning where he came from and what his story is and what his sense of family is.” [widget path="global/article/imagegallery" parameters="albumSlug=the-witcher-explaining-all-the-characters-and-who-plays-them&captions=true"] In the world of The Witcher, the grim monster hunters are separated into different schools of training: School of the Cat, School of the Viper, School of the Griffin, School of the Bear, School of the Crane, School of the Manticore, and Geralt's school, School of the Wolf. Killing Eve's Kim Bodnia has already been cast as Vesermir, the oldest and wisest Witcher still around, and a surrogate father to Geralt. “When I talk about The Witcher," Hissrich continued, "I always talk about how these three characters coming together — Geralt, Ciri and Yennefer — they come together as a family. It’s the most important part of the series for me. And when you start to imagine someone’s family, you also need to understand their family of origin. Sometimes that’s a mother and father, sometimes that’s blood relatives. For Geralt, it’s his brothers, it’s the brotherhood of the witchers. No Time to Die Releasing Earlier in the U.S.

File this under "wait and see" since we're still a few months out and movie release dates are constantly being swapped around -- from Wonder Woman 1984 being bumped for a fourth time to a re-release of Inception taking Tenet's July 17th spot -- but No Time to Die, Daniel Craig's final film as James Bond, will now open a few days sooner in the U.S. Originally pushed from this past April to November due to the COVID-19 crisis, No Time to Die was to release in theaters on November 12, 2020 in the U.K. and on November 25, 2020 in the U.S. The U.K. date still stands, but now No Time to Die is slated to hit theaters in America on November 20. Check it out... This slight switch comes on the heels of Warner Bros./Legendary’s Godzilla vs. Kong, directed by Adam Wingard, leaving its November 20 spot, after having been pushed there from its first release date of March 13. MGM Studios was reported to have taken a hit in the $30 million to $50 million range due to the seven-month No Time to Die delay. On Saturday Night Live's last episode with a live audience, Daniel Craig hosted and spoofed James Bond in this No Time to Die casino sketch.
