Amazon’s Lord of the Rings Reportedly Casts Game of Thrones Actor as New Lead
Robert Aramayo - best known as Young Ned Stark in Game of Thrones - has reportedly been cast in a leading role for Amazon's Lord of the Rings TV series.
Deadline reports that Aramayo will play a young hero, Beldor, replacing Will Poulter (Black Mirror), who apparently left the project after scheduling difficulties.
It's perhaps not a surprising choice, given the creative team for the series includes alumni from Game of Thrones (as well as the likes of Hannibal, Toy Story 4, Star Wars and more).
Tested: The Fastest Broadband for Gaming in the UK
There are over 35 million gamers in the UK, and that figure continues to rise year-on-year. Whether you're playing FIFA, Call of Duty, or Red Dead Redemption, a fast and reliable internet connection is more important than ever when it comes to video games.
Lag and stuttering while gaming can be frustrating, so we recommend taking all the right precautions to ensure you're set up with the perfect broadband package. With games getting more powerful, and 30GB day-one patches becoming normality, it's even more important to ensure your download speeds are up to the task.
ADSL and standard fibre packages (11 - 36Mbps) will do an OK job, but these plans can lack the upload speed and consistency required to achieve uninterrupted online gaming. Larger homes with plenty of electronic devices should definitely consider the top superfast packages (50 - 90Mbps) or even an ultrafast plan if your home is eligible.

Razer’s New Tomahawk Gaming Desktop Is the Modular PC I’ve Always Wanted
At CES 2020, Razer unveiled the Tomahawk Gaming Desktop. It's a compact PC with a modular design – that is, the internal components can easily be swapped out without having to completely open up the case and dig around.
To accomplish this, Razer is using a sled design with what looks like a miniature motherboard next to a power supply. But that mobo-looking piece is actually more akin to a GPU riser cable. In fact, the PC's actual motherboard is contained within the compute unit, an Intel NUC 9 Extreme Compute Element. It's a single box that looks a bit like a short and stocky graphics card, but that contains the mobo, CPU (configurable up to a Core-i9), RAM (up to 64GB), and storage (two M.2 slots). Next to the compute element, there's a PCIe slot and space for a full sized graphics card, which can be configured up to an RTX 2080 Super.

This comes from PlatinumGames president Kenichi Sato and studio head Atsushi Inaba, who spoke to Inside Games (translated by Siliconera) about its plans for 2020.
"Last year, we said that 2019 would be a year where the curtain rises for a new stage for PlatinumGames. We’re a bit late on that, but I believe we’ll have several big announcements to deliver early in the new year, so please look forward to that. That’s a promise I’ll definitely keep,” Sato said.
