Epic Games Store has generated $680 million since in its first year, with the platform’s exclusives having “driven the majority of revenue so far”. Talking to GameDaily.biz, Epic Games Store General Manager, Steve Allison, explained that growth and revenue created by the store is “ ahead of our early expectations”. He noted that exclusives account for 90% of all the store’s new releases, and are the main provider for Epic’s revenue despite strong performance from non-exclusive games. The $680m revenue comes from the 108 million PC customers that use the Epic Games Store. Those users have also claimed more than 200 million free games, thanks to Epic having offered 73 games free of charge over 2019. The company plans to continue offering free games in 2020, too. Currently, PC gaming is dominated by Valve’s Steam platform, which takes a higher cut of profit from sales away from developers than Epic does. The Continental, the John Wick TV show spinoff in development at Starz, is "moving along" and is being carefully planned out so it doesn't "interfere with the motion picture side of things." At the Television Critics Association's winter press tour, Starz CEO Jeffrey Hirsch gave an update on the series that is said to take place early in the history of the John Wick universe. "I had a meeting on a season pitch for this yesterday and it's moving along," Hirsch said. "We like the group of writers, and we’re trying to get it in the right place so it doesn’t interfere with the motion picture side of things." The Flash is practically synonymous with the Multiverse where an infinite number of parallel universes exist because the Speed Force allows him to travel between them, so it makes sense that the character would be used to bridge the gap between the TV and movie universes. In a sense, these universes have always co-existed, but now it’s finally been confirmed on screen.

It’s hard to say whether this TV/movie crossover was a one-time thing or if we’ll see more in the future. Recently Andy Muschetti, director of the upcoming Flash movie, said that the film will showcase a different take on the iconic Flash tale Flashpoint. The Flashpoint comic saw Barry Allen travel to the past to save his mother from being murdered, creating a butterfly effect that drastically changed the present for the worse. We’ve since seen that the world of Flashpoint became its own parallel universe within the Multiverse, so it’s entirely possible that Muschetti could use that Flashpoint to explore the Multiverse and reference the Arrowverse in return. After initial reports that claimed the sword's sudden removal was a part of King Arthur Carrousel's upcoming refurbishment, WDW News Today reports (via Cinemablend) that it was actually a determined park visitor that yanked the hilt right out of place. Two separate witnesses both told WDWNT about the event, with one person saying, "My friend Sam broke it last week on the 8th when we went to Disneyland. He literally ripped it out. The staff said that it was really old and that's why he was able to do so." Sam's friend called him a "pretty buff dude," and added that it was his first time at Disneyland. Amazon Studios and the Russo brothers have announced that Game of Thrones star Richard Madden and Quantico's Priyanka Chopra Jonas will star in the upcoming Citadel series. In addition to casting announcements, Amazon also revealed that the local language production of the series would originate in Mexico, in addition to the Italy and India versions which were previously announced. Further, Madden and Chopra will be headlining the U.S. "mothership" edition, which we will explain later on. Additionally, she is set to star in Netflix's We Can Be Heroes and an untitled Indian wedding comedy. The Citadel is described as a "groundbreaking global event multi-series" and will air exclusively on Amazon Prime Video. Amazon Studios told TheWarp that The Citadel will be an "action-packed spy series, with a compelling emotional center."
