The Best VPN for Disney+ in the UK

Disney+ launched in November for the US, Canada, The Netherlands, Australia, and New Zealand. The UK is notably absent from this list, with Disney indicating that the service won't be reaching our screens until March 31, 2020. While March 2020 isn't the longest wait for fans, the situation isn't ideal for those who want to watch the latest Star Wars content and avoid any spoilers.

All hope is not lost though, and after some testing, we've found that there is a clear workaround to accessing Disney+ content in the UK. There are a few extra hurdles to overcome, so read on to find out how you can watch the latest episodes of The Mandalorian alongside the rest of the Disney+ content library.

Lucasfilm president Kathleen Kennedy has opened up about her plans to move the Star Wars franchise forward after The Rise of Skywalker, explaining how storytelling in this universe will no longer be restricted by a three-act structure.

In a new interview with Los Angeles Times, Kennedy discussed the forthcoming final act of the Skywalker saga, along with her plans for the future, as she emphasized the importance of breaking the formulaic mould of the previous Star Wars instalments.

Will There Be a Watchmen Season 2? Damon Lindelof Weighs In

This story contains spoilers for Watchmen Season 1, episode 9 - the season (and possible series) finale.

Now that Watchmen Season 1 has aired its epic finale, titled "See How They Fly," the most pressing question facing viewers is: will there be a Season 2 of Watchmen?

There's certainly no shortage of plot potential for a second season of the HBO drama; while it's fairly clear that Angela Abar now has Doctor Manhattan's powers after consuming an egg that was strongly implied to transfer Manhattan's abilities to his wife, it remains to be seen what Angela might do with them. (After all, the only reason Manhattan deemed her worthy of receiving said abilities was because he determined that Angela wasn't the kind of person who would seek them out, unlike Ozymandias or Lady Trieu.)

Journey to the Savage Planet Is an Experiment in Weird Game Science

I made a promise to myself: that I would try never to hurt a Pufferbird, the orb-ish, squeaking fowl that cover the Savage Planet. Their huge eyes and meek personalities were just too lovely for me to countenance the idea of harming them. On top of that, creative director, Alex Hutchinson (Far Cry, Assassin’s Creed) had told me that almost every puzzle in his game could be solved without violence. So, I decided, I will skirt round their flocks, trying to explore this planet - their planet - as delicately and respectfully as I could.

20 minutes later, I punted a Pufferbird into a bit of newly discovered fauna that acts like a meat grinder, just to see what would happen.

No More Heroes 3 Trailer Accused of Plagiarism

The No More Heroes 3 trailer that debuted at The Game Awards has been accused of plagiarism. However, a deeper look into the situation has revealed that the people who made the trailer may not necessarily have known they were plagiarizing anyone.

Utrecht-based animation house Studio Plumeau posted a tweet on December 13, 2019 that said an FX animation it had created was used without permission in the No More Heroes 3 trailer shown during The Game Awards.

“Biggest surprise @thegameawards last night was seeing our fx animation pop up in the #NoMoreHeroes3 trailer. Who do I bill for this?” read the tweet before it was taken down (via NintendoEverything). Studio Plumeau tagged the game’s developer Grasshopper Manufacture, its publisher Marvelous Games, and Nintendo America in the tweet.

Luke’s Fate Was a ‘Huge Challenge’ for Rise of Skywalker, Says Editor

J.J. Abrams' longtime editor Maryann Brandon has opened up about some of The Rise of Skywalker's biggest production challenges in the wake of The Last Jedi, citing Luke Skywalker's death as a "problem."

In an interview with AwardsDaily, Brandon, who has collaborated with Abrams on more than 20 projects, including The Force Awakens and The Rise of Skywalker, addressed a few issues the production team faced in wrapping up the long-spanning saga, as she admitted that it was difficult to return to the franchise after Luke's tragic trajectory and the real-life loss of Carrie Fisher.

Daisy Ridley Regrets Playing It Cool With Carrie Fisher On Star Wars

Very few actors get the chance to star alongside a genuine legend. For Daisy Ridley in the Star Wars sequel trilogy, she was able to work with not only one legend but several – including Carrie Fisher, Mark Hamill and Harrison Ford. Ridley opened up to IGN Japan at a recent junket in Tokyo for The Rise of Skywalker about what she was able to learn from these giants of cinema – and what she regrets not asking them.

She said that any tips were gleaned indirectly, as she was hesitant to ask too many questions.

“I think all of us learned more by seeing how people (such as Fisher) were, rather than what they specifically said to us,” she said. “And especially, I never wanted to be the person who was like, ‘Hey, can I ask you like a hundred questions?’ So I went the other way and was like, ‘Yeah, I’m totally cool; I’m not fussed at all.’ So now I look back with Carrie – and with Harrison and Mark – on questions that I wish I had asked, but I didn't want to be that annoying person.”

Daisy Ridley On Why Baby Yoda Will Save Us All

Daisy Ridley has expressed her love for Baby Yoda. Because, well, who wouldn’t?

Ridley, who plays Rey in the Star Wars sequel trilogy, has been down on cute mascot characters in the past, most notably venting her disdain for the puffin-like creatures called porgs that inhabit the remote island where Rey trained with Luke in The Last Jedi.

However, when asked about The Mandalorian’s adorable quintagenarian Force user during a promotional trip to Tokyo to promote Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker, Ridley, told IGN Japan, “I actually really like Baby Yoda! When we were doing press for The Last Jedi, people kept asking me about the Porgs. I don't really like the Porgs.” When asked why, she joked deadpan, “I think they’re overrated. I worked a lot harder than any of the Porgs!”
