Rise of Skywalker Rotten Tomatoes and Metacritic Scores Revealed
The review embargo for Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker has lifted, and the critical response to the final movie in the Skywalker Saga is decidedly mixed. Now that enough critic reviews have been released, the two main review aggregator sites -- Rotten Tomatoes and Metacritic -- have released their Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker review aggregate scores.
Both scores are comparable with each other: the Rotten Tomatoes review score for The Rise of Skywalker is currently sitting at 56 percent based on an aggregate of 117 reviews, while the Metacritic review score for Rise of Skywalker is currently sitting at 53 based on an aggregate of 32 pro critic reviews. Both sites announced the aggregate scores now that the review embargo on the film has lifted.

The Wolf Among Us 2 ‘Completely Restarted’ With a New Engine
While The Wolf Among Us 2 is back in development, the renewed version of the game doesn’t build on any of the previous work that Telltale did on it. The creative team working on the sequel now actually started from scratch.
This is what Jamie Ottilie, CEO of LCG Entertainment (who revived Telltale as a brand), told USgamer when discussing how The Wolf Among Us 2’s development got started.
Star Wars: Rian Johnson Says It Is a ‘Mistake’ to Cater to Fans
Rian Johnson, the writer and director of Star Wars: The Last Jedi, has opened up about the "creative process" behind making a movie, saying it is a "mistake" to solely cater to fans rather than challenge them.
Per IndieWire, Johnson recently appeared as a guest on Radio.com's Swings & Mrs Podcast, where he was asked for his thoughts on fandoms influencing filmmaking, to which the director shared his opinion that fans shouldn't necessarily get everything they want.
Dino Crisis Trademark Filed by Capcom
Capcom has filed a new trademark for Dino Crisis with the Japan Patent Office. Many other games were also trademarked, including Mega Man, Darkstalkers, and Breath of Fire.
Japanese trademark watch website Chizai-Watch notes that Capcom filed these new trademarks on November 29, 2019 while they were published on December 17, 2019.
As Siliconera reports, this is the second new trademark for Dino Crisis filed by Capcom recently. The first was filed on February 5, 2018 and granted on December 28, 2018. The last Japanese trademark for Dino Crisis before that was granted on March 31, 2000.

Lord of the Rings TV Show Casts Young Galadriel
The Lord of the Rings series on Amazon has cast an actress to play a young Galadriel.
Morfydd Clark (His Dark Materials) has signed on for the role of young Galadriel, according to Variety. It's the first character from the blockbuster movie series that's been reported to appear in the series. Galadriel was played by Cate Blanchett in the six movies from director Peter Jackson.
Clark can currently be seen in the HBO miniseries His Dark Materials and recently appeared in the movies Crawl as well as Pride and Prejudice and Zombies. She will next appear in the BBC/Netflix miniseries Dracula from the creators of Sherlock. Ema Horvath, Markella Kavenagh and Joseph Mawle are also supposedly on board for the series.
Luigi’s Mansion 3 Multiplayer DLC Announced for 2020
Nintendo has announced two new multiplayer DLC for Luigi’s Mansion 3. Both Multiplayer Packs will arrive in 2020 and will add new outfits and ghosts to the multiplayer ScareScraper mode.
The two DLCs are called Multiplayer Pack Part 1 and 2 and are available for pre-purchase now for $9.99 for both. They are not sold separately, and can only be purchased together.
Multiplayer Pack Part 1 will be released on April 30, 2020, and will come with three new minigames for the multiplayer ScreamPark mode, and three new outfits for Luigi along with matching floor themes and themed ghosts in ScareScraper. Players will also receive an in-game Polterpup light called Flashlight Type-P that they can use in either Story Mode or the ScareScraper.
Lin-Manuel Miranda Reveals He Wrote Music for The Rise of Skywalker
Lin-Manuel Miranda, star of Hamilton and HBO’s His Dark Materials, has revealed he's written music for Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker alongside director J.J. Abrams.
