Blair Witch Hands-On Preview
Let’s just get this out of the way right now: I spent most of my time in the Blair Witch video game trying to pat the dog.
Believe me, you’ll want to. Your trusty canine companion Bullet is the only thing you’ll have to help you in Blair Witch, which is shaping up to be a frightening little throwback to an era where camcorders were at the cutting edge of technology. He’s as important a part of your (limited) arsenal as your camcorder, mobile phone, and flashlight, but he’s also an extremely adorable partner who you’ll want to protect against the mysterious horrors of the Black Hills Forest.
As ex-cop named Ellis on the search for 9-year-old Peter Shannon in the depths of the said forest, you’re armed with a camcorder, a walkie talkie, a flashlight, and Bullet. All have their uses, but Bullet is the most utilized, minute to minute. You can command him in several ways - Come, Seek, Reprimand (WHO WOULD CHOOSE THIS COMMAND EVER), Stay, Stay Close, and Pet, and I’m told that the way you treat him will influence his behavior later in the game. So patting him isn’t just something you’ll want to do, it’s something you should do.

Like HP’s Pavilion Gaming Laptop lineup, this new green-tinged gaming PC is more budget oriented and features a less ostentatious design than its Omen lineup. Still you can pack a lot of power into these machines including 3000-series Ryzen processors with up to eight-cores (or Intel Core i7-9700 on the base model).

Just when I thought there wasn’t room in the world for another 240Hz gaming monitor, HP has gone and introduced a refreshing take on the category with the Omen X 27 at Gamescom 2019.
In terms of sheer size, the Omen display’s 27-inch screen is a little bigger than the usual 25-inch monitors we see in this field. Additionally, the display resolves a QHD (2,560 x 1,440) resolution well above the current field of Full HD (1,920 x 1,080) options in the high-speed gaming monitor space.

At Gamescom 2019, Samsung has introduced a new gaming monitor designed to provide you with both great image quality and a clean gaming space.
It just so happens to be called the Space Gaming Monitor and it’s essentially a 32-inch gaming monitor with an integrated monitor arm. This monitor arm is designed to be as minimal and compact as possible. In fact, it's basically a flat post when standing fully upright and it only folds down as you lower the monitor.

Marvel’s Avengers Gameplay Is Deeper Than Any of Us Knew
While the tutorial portion of Marvel’s The Avengers has been shown behind closed doors at both 2019’s E3 and Comic-Con, we’d been left curiously in the dark as to what the game actually is. The fluid frantic action of the front roster - Thor, Captain America, Iron Man, Hulk, and Black Widow - was nice to look at, but Square Enix had given us little information beyond the team’s aesthetics and the basics of how they play in combat...until now.
At Gamescom 2019, we not only went hands-on with that same tutorial to get a real feel for how it controlled, but we also learned a whole heap of new information that paints a picture of a deeply ambitious, ever-evolving experience that blends the loot-shooter hook of Destiny with the story-driven heart of the MCU. Game of Thrones: Kit Harington Reveals Whether Jon Snow Left Westeros Forever
Spoilers ahead for the last season of HBO's Game of Thrones.
Kit Harington, Jon Snow in HBO's Game of Thrones, recently revealed some new details about his character and GoT's last season, including whether or not Jon Snow left Westeros and how Harington really felt about not being chosen to kill the Night King.
Speaking to THR as one of many Emmy-nominated actors, Harington discussed his final scene, which just so happened to also be the final scene of the show, and was asked how he "read that final moment" of him "leading the Free Folk back into the true north."
