Zombie A-Pork-Alypse? Scientists Restore Brain Function in Dead Pigs
Scientists have "somewhat revived" brains of dead pigs following them being killed in a slaughterhouse, although they are "careful to say that none of the brains regained the kind of organized electrical activity associated with consciousness or awareness."
As reported by NPR, the experiment was described in the journal Nature and it showed that a "surprising amount of cellular function was either preserved or restored" in the brains of the deceased pigs.

Fans Are Trying to Uncover a Mysterious Retro Studios Character
Retro Studios gave former Nintendo of America president Reggie Fils-Amie a signed drawing of him posing with various characters from Retro games, but a small mechanical hand in the picture is throwing a lot of fans for a loop.
The picture, along with a working Virtual Boy, a notebook for taking names, a plastic ass to kick and more, were given to Fils-Amie during a retirement event, and the Nintendo legend decided to tweet out pictures of these gifts yesterday.
The folks at GameXplain and fans on Reset Era noticed a mechanical hand in the picture, which can be seen poking out from behind a small statue of Mario in front of the picture. Theories have begun flying.

Beyond Ronin: Meet Hawkeye’s Other Identities
We may be mourning the loss of Steve Rogers' incredible Infinity War beard as we go into Endgame, but radical character transformation is apparently becoming something of an Avengers tradition and Clint Barton is ready to pick up the baton and run with it. From his first appearance in the Endgame trailer, fans have been able to tell something's up -- the purple archer ain't so purple anymore -- and a shift was later confirmed by toy line releases. Hawkeye has given up being Hawkeye and is now the ominously named Ronin! (For even more on Ronin in Avengers: Endgame, head here.)
