Tom Hardy Is Signed On for 3 Venom Movies
Tom Hardy is committed to starring in more Venom movies.
In an interview with Total Film magazine, as reported on by ComicBook, Hardy confirmed he's signed on for three Venom films. The actor is open to once again portraying Eddie Brock if a Venom sequel were to happen.
"I'm open to whatever you want to do with it," Hardy said. "We've signed up for three of them. So it's very much an open case. We'll see what people's responses are to it."
"I think it's an awesome character. I love playing both of them. It's an amuse-bouche, and for Sony, it's the Venom-verse launched in isolation, as it were," he said.
Venom Director and Tom Hardy Unsure If Film Will Get R or PG-13 Rating
While there is still no confirmation on if Sony's Venom film will be receiving a PG-13 or R rating, the director, Ruben Fleischer, and Venom himself, Tom Hardy, have spoken up about the ongoing question.
Although many fans expected Venom to receive an R-rating, multiple people at Sony have been reportedly working to push the boundaries of a PG-13 film, without crossing over into a film that is R-rated, "so future Spider-Man spin-offs from Sony can retain their family-friendliness that the wall-climber is known for."
From Total Film magazine, as reported on by ComicBook, Fleischer spoke up and said that they "pushed the envelope" with this film as to stay as true as possible to the source material.

Dominic Monaghan and J.J. Abrams are reuniting, with Monaghan joining Star Wars: Episode IX.

"The galaxy far far away has had almost as much influence as the one I live in, so I am delighted to be involved,” Monaghan told Deadline.
Monaghan and Abrams previously worked together on ABC's Lost, with Monaghan playing Charlie Pace throughout the series' six-season run. Abrams co-created Lost and served as a director, writer and executive producer on the show.

Timeless Finale Will Air in December
Timeless' two-part finale will air later this year in December.
The Timeless Writers Twitter account revealed the news, however an exact premiere date was not confirmed. John Showalter, who has directed several episodes of the show including "The Capture of Benedict Arnold" and "Hollywoodland," will helm the finale.
Lauren Greer, the co-writer of "The Day Reagan Was Shot," will pen the first hour of the finale. Arika Lisanne, who wrote "Stranded" and "The Red Scare", will write the second hour.
NBC canceled Timeless for a second time earlier this year before ordering a special two-part finale to wrap up the story.
