The Crew 2 Is a Welcome Reset That Focuses on Fast Fun
2014’s The Crew was lacking in several areas but ambition wasn’t one of them. Its map of continental USA may have been a shrunken caricature of the real thing but it dwarfed its peers in the open world racing space by a big margin. The game itself was ultimately hamstrung by some frustrating AI issues and a po-faced narrative thread that clashed with the spirit of fun and freedom it promised, but the foundation of The Crew was nonetheless a tremendous technical achievement that oozed potential. With a world as mammoth and varied as the one developer Ivory Tower built for The Crew, the sky was the limit, right?
Figuratively, that is. In The Crew 2, the sky is a brand new playground.

Shenmue 3 Delayed to 2019
Shenmue 3 won't release this year as originally planned and instead will come out in 2019.
Publisher Deep Silver gave a brief update on the game to explain the delay. "The extra time will be used to polish the quality of the game even further, to the high standards it deserves and release the product in the best possible timeframe," the statement says.
This is the second setback for Shenmue 3's release. The game was scheduled to arrive in December 2017 at one point before being pushed back to the second half of 2018.

Zombieland 2 Aiming for October 2019 Release With Original Cast
A Zombieland sequel featuring the original cast is planned for an October 2019 release window.
"We’re going on the tenth anniversary of Zombieland," the film's co-writer, Paul Wernick, told Vulture. "Zombieland came out October of 2009. We don’t know what you get someone for their tenth anniversary, but it may be a Zombieland 2.
"The hope is that we’re shooting that thing early 2019 for an October of ’19 release. With the original cast, by the way."
There was news of a sequel back in 2014, when it was reported that Sony Pictures had hired Dave Callaham to write the script for Zombieland 2, with Ruben Fleischer returning to direct. After the film's surprise success, Amazon looked at making it into a series, but it didn't make it past the pilot.
