New Tom Holland, Daisy Ridley Movie to Get Major Reshoots

Chaos Walking, the Tom Holland and Daisy Ridley-led film adaptation of the YA novel of the same name, will reportedly undergo major reshoots.

This news comes by way of The Hollywood Reporter, who notes the reshoots for director Doug Liman's upcoming movie could result in Lionsgate having to delay the film, thanks to the busy schedules of both Holland and Ridley.

Additionally, Patrick Ness—the author of the Chaos Walking novel—is reportedly in talks to write new script pages for the reshoot.

Rogue One’s Writer Opens Up About the Production’s ‘Terrible Trouble’

Tony Gilroy, the writer brought on to rework the Rogue One: A Star Wars Story script, has opened up about "the terrible trouble" the production was in before its reshoots.

Speaking on on The Moment With Brian Koppelman podcast (via THR), Gilroy said the only way was up when he was brought on.

Spoilers for Rogue One ahead, obviously.

"If you look at Rogue, all the difficulty with Rogue, all the confusion of it … and all the mess, and in the end when you get in there, it's actually very, very simple to solve," Gilroy said. "Because you sort of go, 'This is a movie where, folks, just look. Everyone is going to die.' So it's a movie about sacrifice."

Solo: A Star Wars Story to Debut at Cannes

Solo: A Star Wars Story is headed to the South of France for its premiere on May 15 at the Cannes Film Festival, just 10 days before its release in theaters on May 25.

The Hollywood Reporter confirmed Solo's appearances at the international film festival. Solo is not the first Stars Wars film to debut at Cannes -- Attack of the Clones (2002) and Revenge of the Sith (2005) also had their premieres at the festival. Hopefully, Solo will be better received than its predecessors, but with a shaky production that resulted in the firing of directors Phil Lord and Christopher Miller, a successful opening isn't a guarantee.

LawBreakers ‘Failed to Find’ Audience, Studio Is Working on New Project

LawBreakers' performance has failed to meet Boss Key's expectations, so the development team is shifting the game's model to free-to-play.

In a recent statement, Boss Key Productions' development team confirmed the game "failed to find enough of an audience to generate the funds necessary to keep it sustained in the manner we had originally planned for and anticipated." In light of this, the studio is moving to a free-to-play model and Boss Key has begun development on a new "passion project."

"The team here has worked hard on

over the past three and a half years and our studio is determined to give this game the second life it deserves," and "while a pivot to free-to-play may seem like easiest change to make," the developer says, "a change of this magnitude takes publishing planning and resources."

League of Legends Dev Says New Character Was ‘Unnecessarily Sexualized’

In a Q&A posted today, League of Legends developer Riot Games admitted that it unintentionally made its newest champion, Kai’Sa, look “unnecessarily sexualized.”

Riot had previously committed to not adding any more “hyper sexualized” champions to League of Legends, so some players cried foul when they saw the deep V-neckline on Kai’Sa. Lead Producer of Champions Ryan Mireles responded to exactly that complaint in an official dev Q&A, saying that they “could’ve done better.”

13 Other Spider-Man PS4 Costumes We Want

Insomniac’s Spider-Man for PS4 will be hitting on September 7, and when it does, it will include numerous different suits that players can switch into. Naturally, our minds immediately started buzzing with all of the possibilities from the comics, so we’ve come up with a list of our dream picks for the coolest Spidey costumes we want to wear as we web-sling across New York City.

But before we get started, let’s lay out some criteria. As we saw in the first trailer at E3 2017, Miles Morales will be a character in the game, so we’re not including his red-and-black Spider-Man costume given that there’s a chance he’ll appear wearing it alongside Peter in the game. We’re also leaving out the likes of Venom and Carnage because they are distinct, separate characters from Peter who are also likely candidates to appear in the game, if the story decides to go the symbiote route.
