Alleged Battlefront 4 Concept Art Includes Dark Side Obi-Wan

Alleged concept art for the canceled Star Wars Battlefront 4 feature a host of beloved characters in surprising form, like a dark side Obi-Wan Kenboi and a Jedi Darth Maul.

The images surfaced on Imgur, as reported by Eurogamer, and they seemingly hint at the vision developer Free Radical Design had for the game, which the studio reportedly worked on before Star Wars Battlefront 3 was canceled in 2006. There's concept art of Luke Skywalker falling to the dark side, Count Dooku becoming a Jedi, a version of Chewbacca who never escaped slavery, and both a light and dark side Princess Leia.

Die Hard 6 Script Reportedly Being Rewritten by The Conjuring Writers

20th Century Fox has reportedly hired The Conjuring writers to rewrite the script for Die Hard 6.

The Tracking Board reports Chad and Carey Hayes, who wrote both The Conjuring movies, will work on the screenplay for the next Die Hard entry. Earlier reports suggested the film will be an origin story featuring a young John McClane as a regular cop in 1970s New York.

Bruce Willis' older version of the character reportedly still would feature somewhere as a bookend to the prequel story, with the film also moving between past and present, according to The Tracking Board's report. No word yet on who might portray the younger John McClane or when Die Hard 6 might hit theaters.

The Last Ever Episodes of Game of Thrones Made the Cast Cry

During the annual INTV conference in Israel yesterday, Francesca Orsi, the Senior Vice President of drama at HBO, implied that everyone would die, "one by one," leading up to the shows final episodes. The last season of Game of Thrones will not be a disappointment, promise HBO executives.

The entire cast got very emotional during a table reads for one of the final episodes of Game of Thrones. Everyone was crying, and it ended with a heartfelt 15-minute applause.

“It was a really powerful moment in our lives and our careers,” said Francesca Orsi, while participating in a panel called “The Best of HBO” at the INTV Conference in Jerusalem. “None of the cast had received the scripts prior, and one by one they started falling down to their deaths.”

Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 Publisher ‘Keenly Aware’ of Battle Royale Success

Activision is said to be "keenly aware" of the successful battle royale formula of games like PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds and Fortnite.

The Dow Jones Newswire reports that, following a meeting between Activision Blizzard and its investment firm Oppenheimer, Activision is reportedly "keenly aware of how other game publishers have recently benefited from releasing titles in

'battle royale' genre.

"Management reminded investors that the company is a faster follower," Oppenheimer continued.

While not an exact announcement, the implication here is that we may see some kind of battle royle mode make its way into an Activision franchise (or appear via a new game). Likely candidates would undoubtedly include the company's upcoming 2018 title, Call of Duty: Black Ops 4, which was announced last week with very few details beyond the announcement of Treyarch's return to the well-received Call of Duty subseries.
