Thor: Ragnarok Director Will Play an Imaginary Hitler in His New Film

Taika Waititi, director of Thor: Ragnarok, will be playing an imaginary version of Hitler in his next project, a dramedy called Jojo Rabbit that begins filming this spring.

AV Club reports the original log line for the script, which sheds a bit more light, and context, onto the character.

"After being severely hurt by a grenade at Hitler youth camp, a prideful and nationalistic ten-year old boy discovers that his mother is hiding a fifteen year old Jewish girl in their house." The boy's imaginary friend is a version of Hitler that is far removed from reality, with Waititi describing him as "goofy" and "charming" while "

Kit Harrington Confirms Jon Snow Won’t Be in GoT Spinoffs

Jon Snow won't appear in any of the Game of Thrones spinoffs, according to Kit Harington.

In an interview with GQ Italia (via Digital Spy), Harington confirmed he won't be a part of any of the new shows. "I think there's going to be spinoffs, but I'm not going to be involved in any of it," Harington said.

Harington's comments aren't necessarily surprising, considering HBO President Casey Bloys said no existing Game of Thrones characters would appear in the potential spinoffs. Still, with these projects still in development, Harington's statement seem to confirm the intention of these spinoffs to explore different aspects of George R. R. Martin's world.

Modders Love Putting The Witcher’s Geralt In Games

Geralt, the main character from The Witcher series of games and books, is a handsome mutated devil with cool scars and gorgeous locks of spun silver. So of course, it makes sense for him to branch out a bit and show up in other games, such as the upcoming Soulcalibur 6.

But modders don't want to wait to see Geralt in another game, and so they've been modding him into existing games for a while now. Check out the gallery below of 8 notable ones.

For a full look at Geralt in Soulcalibur 6, check out the trailer below.

The Guardians of the Galaxy’s Big Advantage Over the Avengers in Infinity War

While on a visit to the Atlanta set of Avengers: Infinity War last year, IGN and a small group of press spoke to directors Joe and Anthony Russo about what audiences can expect from the Guardians of the Galaxy joining the fray in the fight against Thanos. The directors explained how the passage of several years between Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 and the start of Infinity War is the reason behind a few changes to the team. Some changes will be practical, like Groot growing into his “teenage” form, but the one that really counts is how they will enter the film with several years of experience working as a team.

“There are some changes … about chemistry and about camaraderie and the fact that they're closer, and they're tighter, and they've been doing it for a while. That's, if there's any change, it's in that when they may or may not intersect with the Avengers in this movie, they have cemented their chemistry as a team. And they would stand in contrast with the other teams. Potentially,” Anthony explained.

Infinity War Directors Are Putting the Avengers Through Their ‘Final Test’

Avengers: Infinity War will be the culmination of all previous 18 films in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and on a visit to the Atlanta set of the upcoming film, IGN and a small group of press heard from directors Joe and Anthony Russo on just how they’re taking on such an ambitious, unprecedented task.

“I think as storytellers what it means for us is that while you're always looking for cataclysmic events in a film, to change a character, to challenge a character, and to sort of explore who that character is and test who that character is, it gave all of us in this film an opportunity to figure out, well, what were those ultimate tests for these characters. To go one step further even than how you would normally test the character in one of these films because we had the freedom to think of it in many, many cases as sort of a final test,” Anthony said, with Joe adding, “This is the ending of the book. And then there may be new books written, but this is certainly the ending of this book”

Outer Wilds is a first-person sci-fi adventure developed by Mobius Digital and published by Annapurna Interactive.

It's described as an "open-world mystery," and takes place in a bizarre solar system "trapped in an endless time loop." Time plays a major role, with locations and secrets appearing or disappearing in chronological lock-step.

"Players can visit an underground city before it’s swallowed by sand, or explore the surface of a planet as it crumbles beneath their feet," according to Annapurna Interactive.

Outer Wilds is set in a dynamic, fully-realized solar system "that rewards players’ curiosity." Rather than procedural generation, the worlds and explorable locations are hand-crafted.
