Fortnite's upcoming v.3.0.0 update will offer some new changes and options to make building both faster and easier.

In an official blog post, Epic Games detailed four key ways it would be speeding things up, the first of which is a toggleable “Turbo Building” option that allows you to hold down your primary fire to continuously place building pieces.

Another new toggleable option called “Auto Change Materials” will do exactly what it sounds like, automatically switching to another building material when the one you are using runs out.

Solo ‘A Lot More Fun’ Than Other Star Wars Movies, says Donald Glover

Donald Glover thinks fans are going to enjoy the tone of the upcoming Solo movie.

In an interview with Entertainment Tonight Glover, who plays young Lando Calrissian in Solo, said the upcoming Star Wars film is more fun than any other entry in the franchise because fans already know the fates of the main characters.

"I think it's just a lot more fun," Glover said. "All the Star Wars

are really fun but I think this movie, we know what's going to happen, we know they're not going to die, ya know?" As such, the cast and crew are allowed to enjoy themselves a bit more. The real focus in Solo, says Glover, is shedding more light on Han Solo, Lando, Chewbacca and other beloved Star Wars characters' pasts.

Leviathan Is Final Destination Meets Godzilla

Whipping out a Ouija board at a party might be good for innocent laughs in the real world, but in this new comic book series from writer John Layman (Chew), artist Nick Pitarra (Manhattan Projects) and colorist Mike Garland (Manhattan Projects), it summons a 500 foot-tall, fire-breathing monster. That’s the premise of Leviathan, a new series from Image Comics announced at Image Expo 2018, which features a group of young people who are now running for their lives as the accidentally-summoned kaiju hunts them down. It’s Godzilla via black magic instead of radiation with the horror formula of Final Destination.

Opinion: Killmonger’s Rage Is the Hard Truth of Black Panther

Warning! Full SPOILERS follow for Black Panther. Be sure to check out our SPOILER-FREE review right here.

Black Panther’s Erik Killmonger wanted to start a revolution around the world that would help marginalized people fight back against their oppressors, and while I don’t agree with his methods, I understand where the anger comes from. I felt that same rage when I was 12 years old on a trip to Africa.

In 1996, my family and I traveled to West Africa to a small country called The Gambia. My parents were determined to see where our ancestors potentially came from, because the region was known to have been a popular destination for slave traders back in the 18th and early 19th centuries. It was a revelatory experience that I will never forget and thought about constantly while watching Black Panther.

How Ubisoft Is Innovating by Exploring Beyond Gaming

Though Ubisoft's worldwide studios work themselves to craft new technology and push the possibilities of their games, a relatively new facet of the company is looking beyond gaming to innovate within the industry.

Ubisoft's Strategic Innovation Lab is a collective within Ubisoft studying and analyzing trends in how the world interacts with technology and its rapid changes to then find ways of applying them to Ubisoft as a whole. Lidwine Sauer, Director of Insights and Trends for the lab, spoke with IGN ahead of her DICE 2018 speech to explain the lab's focuses going forward.

Having already spoken at DICE Europe, Sauer has explored the lab's work in fields like artificial intelligence and implementations of it in Ubisoft products. Sauer cited last year's Star Trek: Bridge Crew as an example of AI's voice command capabilities, as well as the recent introduction of Sam, Ubisoft's personal gaming assistant interface introduced into beta in the Ubisoft Club app.
