The Coolest TVs at CES 2018

If there's one thing CES is known for, aside from ankle blisters for the attendees, it's huge televisions. Every year all the big manufacturers unveil their biggest and most bleeding-edge panels for onlookers to gawk at, at this year was no exception. Though OLED displays ruled the roost there was a decent mix of next-gen display technology on the show floor this year, and of course most of them were unbelievably massive (and expensive). Let's take a look at some of the most mouth-watering panels.

Could Daniel Bryan Actually Win the WWE Royal Rumble?

Hang on. Back it up. Hold the phone.

Does anyone even use phones as phones anymore? Whatever. Hold the rectangle in your hand that holds all of the world's answers and the soul's desires. Hold it.

There's a grumbling, a rumbling even, that Daniel Bryan might win the Royal Rumble?

Okay, back when the Wrap Up was a thing that existed in the world, I'd mark an item like this with the caveat "WILD and/or OUTRAGEOUS INTERNET SPECULATION." It's a rumor. Add as many grains of salt to this brew as you'd like to make it palpable.

The Top 25 Movie Anniversaries in 2018

They say that those who forget the past are doomed to repeat it, but maybe it also works the other way around. That's probably part of why we like nostalgia so much. We get to look to our past for all the things we did right, to honor them and also to do everything we can to get it right the next time.

Hence the tendency of movie-lovers to celebrate the major anniversaries of the films that changed the art form, the industry, and the people who watched them. Every year we take a look back at films that came out 10, 20, 25, 50, 75 and even 100 years ago and remind ourselves of why these movies mattered, and how far we've come because we had them in our lives.

The problem, of course, is that there are a lot of amazing movies out there and keeping track of every single anniversary can be a bit of a chore. And of course, there are some films that certain people will want to honor more than others. Some people may want to make a big deal out of Super Mario Bros.: The Movie turning 25 years old on May 28, 2018, but there are probably also quite a few people who'd rather forget that movie ever happened. That said, there are some films that are almost certainly going to get remembered over the course of the next year, many of them big enough that their fans might want to know about the anniversaries in advance, to plan their parties or at least make sure they have a copy on hand to watch that night. So, to help you keep them straight, here are our picks for 25 movie anniversaries you're going to want to keep on your calendar in 2018!

A Visual History of Godzilla

Godzilla is one of the most recognizable movie monsters of all time. There's a good chance you can picture Godzilla right now, but the design has actually changed a lot over the years. In fact, it changed almost every time a new Godzilla movie was made.

The changes were sometimes practical: the suits needed to be more flexible to work with the action in the script. But in one case, the design change was necessitated by the fact someone flat-out stole the suit and it was never recovered.

Some changes were relatively minor, while others, like the design for the 1998 Matthew Broderick movie, were bad and should never be revisited. For a look at Godzilla's history, check out the slideshow below.
