Spielberg’s Next Movie Could Be Indiana Jones 5
Steven Spielberg's next movie could be Indiana Jones 5.
Deadline reports the filmmaker may helm the next Indy film, with Harris Ford reprising his role as the iconic character, or a remake of the 1961 musical West Side Story. If Spielberg were to take on Indiana Jones 5 next, he'd potentially follow it up quickly with the new West Side Story, which Tony Kushner (Lincoln) is writing the script for.
There's also the possibility of Spielberg shifting his focus to an entirely new film instead if a script catches his eye, which happened with Liz Hanna's screenplay for The Post. As for Indiana Jones 5, the film is scheduled to hit theaters on July 10, 2020.

Counterpart’s J.K. Simmons on the Challenges of Acting Opposite Himself
Premiering Sunday, January 21st is Counterpart - a new sci-fi spy saga on Starz featuring Oscar-winner J.K. Simmons as Howard Silk, a meek beurocrat who discovers that the Berlin office he works at houses the secret of a gateway to an alternate/parallel Earth.
Part Cold War thriller/part Fringe, Counterpart expertly explores the idea of identity as the alternate world, which is a mirror of our own accidentally created 30 years prior, contains doubles of everyone. And people older than 30 years of age will actually share a past, a childhood and some change, with their doppelgänger since it's only after the alt-world was created that things start to diverge between the two versions.
