Dreams Release Window Revealed
Dreams, Media Molecule's upcoming user-generated sandbox, is coming to PlayStation 4 in 2018.
A new trailer during The Game Awards confirmed re-debuted the PS4-exclusive title.
The trippy interactive dream creator was officially announced at E3 2015 during Sony's press conference. The LittleBigPlanet team took the stage to demonstrate the weird, collaborative, user-created worlds that they described as "living painting
."
Dreams was first teased with a live demo at PS4's original February 2013 announcement event. Since then, Media Molecule announced a beta and delayed it, with no word before today other than that the game was "still in development" as of Paris Games Week earlier this year.
EA’s A Way Out Release Date Announced
At The Game Awards tonight, EA announced that A Way Out will be released on March 23, 2018 for PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
Announced during The Game Awards, the co-op experience will also allow players to play the game online with a friend, even if that friend doesn't have a copy of the game.
EA revealed that anyone who owns A Way Out can have a friend download the friends pass free trial to play along for free with the friend who owns the game without paying for a second company.
Sea of Thieves Release Date Announced
Sea of Thieves will officially launch on Xbox One and PC on March 20, 2018.
Sea of Thieves was originally announced at E3 2015, and has been in development since with the help of the Sea of Thieves community who have been able to play early versions of the game via its Insider Programme. Sign-ups for Sea of Thieves' Technical Alpha recently ended, and Rare is expected to provide more details about the next play session this month.

Bayonetta 1 and 2 Coming to Nintendo Switch
Update: The Switch version of Bayonetta 2 will reportedly include a few new features, including local co-op and amiibo support.
As reported by Polygon, a post on PlatinumGames' website, which has since been pulled, reveals the following features will be included in the Switch version of Bayonetta 2:
- Local wireless cooperative play - The previously online-only coop Tag Climax is going local! Team up with a friend to take it on – online or off.
Bayonetta 3 Announced
Platinum Games is developing Bayonetta 3 exclusively for Nintendo Switch.
Nintendo revealed a short teaser trailer for Bayonetta 3 at The Game Awards 2017, which you can see below.
No release window or any other information was announced in the teaser. Platinum Games first expressed interest in developing Bayonetta 3 back in May. Bayonetta 1 and 2 are also coming to the Nintendo Switch early next year.
Soulcalibur 6 Announced, Coming 2018
Update: Bandai Namco has revealed a few details about the setting of Soulcalibur VI. The fighting game will take place during the 16th century and revisit the events of the original game to "uncover hidden truths," according to the publisher.
Additionally, Bandai Namco confirmed the game will feature a "diverse lineup of new and returning characters with their unique fighting styles including series mainstays; Mitsurugi and Sophitia."

Bandai Namco has announced Soulcalibur VI, showcasing a brief teaser of the game this evening during The Game Awards.
Soulcalibur VI is coming to PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC in 2018.
Fortnite Reveals New 50 vs 50 Mode for Battle Royale
Revealed during The Game Awards, a new 50 versus 50 mode is now available for a limited time for Fortnite Battle Royale. The mode will be available through Sunday, December 17.
The mode is a last-team standing battle scenario with two teams of 50 each duking it out on a massive scale. Check out the reveal trailer below.
Alongside the announcement of the 50 versus 50 mode, Epic Games confirmed Fortnite has seen 30 million players since its July launch, having recently hit a new peak of 1.3 million concurrent users over this past weekend.

Zelda: Breath of the Wild Story DLC Is Available Tonight
Nintendo has announced that The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild’s The Champions’ Ballad DLC will be released on December 7.
During The Game Awards 2017, a new trailer for The Champions' Ballad revealed several new costumes for Link, new Shrines, information on the story, and a new motorcycle called the Master Cycle Zero that Link can get after "overcoming all the challenges in the DLC."
Nintendo announced a Breath of the Wild Season Pass at the beginning of this year, promising a “Trials” challenged followed by a story expansion. The challenge was released as the Master Trials DLC back in July, and the story DLC received Champions’ Ballad as its official title at E3 this year.
In the Valley of the Gods Announced From Firewatch Dev
In the Valley of the Gods is the next game from Campo Santo, the studio behind 2016’s Firewatch. The first-person adventure game is set for release in 2019 on PC, but much like Firewatch, the team is interested in bringing it to consoles.
Announced during the 2017 Game Awards, In the Valley of the Gods is set in Egypt during the late 1920s. It stars Rashida and Zora, a pair of documentary filmmakers who accidentally made it big with a hit movie (think Nanook of the North), but have since seen their careers go off a cliff. They reunite years later after receiving information about the lost Tomb of Nefertiti, with a goal of reigniting their careers by documenting their trip to Egypt.

During the preshow at The Game Awards 2017, From Software released a teaser its next project.
