The first look at Robin from the upcoming live-action Titans series has received a largely positive response, but a particular group of fans aren't so happy. While the costume is impressively accurate to the comics, the man under the mask is Dick Grayson (played by actor Brenton Thwaites), yet he's wearing the costume of another Robin, Tim Drake.

Sony Exec on If Opening E3 to the Public Was Successful

Sony Interactive Entertainment America President and CEO Shawn Layden gave his opinion on this year's E3 during an interview with Kinda Funny Games' Greg Miller at PSX 2017's opening ceremony.

When comparing the differences between Sony's PSX and E3 presentations, Layden pointed out E3 is primarily a trade show, which is why Sony takes on a different presentation style for PSX and E3.

Miller then asked what Layden thought about E3 being open to consumers this year.

"I thought, I'll be honest with you guys, I think the ESA sold 15,000 consumer tickets for that and it really brought the crowd to the edge of pain," Layden said. "And I won't bore you guys with the details around that, but if you're going to design a trade show or a consumer show, those are two different beasts."

WTF Is Alita: Battle Angel? We Breakdown the Trailer

After years of talk, we finally got our first trailer for Alita: Battle Angel, the live-action adaptation of the cult manga-turned-anime Battle Angel Alita, known in Japan as Gunm (pronounced “Gahn-Muh”).

Watch the trailer here:

In a nutshell, Alita is a hyper-violent dystopian cyberpunk version of Pinocchio with a dash of Rollerball thrown into the mix -- James Cameron’s been talking about turning it into movie for over a decade, and now it’s in the capable hands of Robert Rodriguez. Hopefully this is more in line with Sin City than Shark Boy and Lava Girl, but if nothing else, it’s using a lot of the tech that Cameron developed for Avatar, so it’s undoubtedly going to look cool.
