Why Stranger Things’ Most Divisive Episode Is Important
With one extra episode this season, Stranger Things experimented with its format, abandoning Hawkins for Chicago as Eleven went to explore her past. While IGN reviewed the episode favorably, reception online has, politely, been mixed.
And given the events of the finale, I have a good news/bad news situation for you — “The Lost Sister” may have felt out of place in Season 2, but it feels absolutely vital in setting up the X-Men vibe the show could be aiming for in a potential Season 3.
Spoilers for the end of Stranger Things: Season 2 follow.
Season 2 concludes with The Shadow Monster/Mind Flayer, just your average world-consuming demon, discovering its current prey, Earth, is home to a superpowered being like Eleven. Whereas presumably the monster only saw humans as its foe before, it now faces a unique individual who could throw a wrench in its plan of utter destruction.

Assassin’s Creed Origins Sells Twice as Fast as Syndicate
Ubisoft announced the latest entry into the Assassin's Creed franchise is already beating sales of the last game in the series.
According to a press release ahead of the company's quarterly call with investors, Assassin's Creed Origins has sold "100%" better than Syndicate in the same 10-day period following launch.
Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemot said credited the "longer development lead times" on Assassin's Creed Origins and other Ubisoft games, allowing developers to "fully express their creative visions." Guillemot added the longer leads mean Ubisoft can "maximize the potential of our games."
Ubisoft's first-half sales are up 65.7% over the same period last year, with digital revenue up 69.1%.

Call of Duty: WW2 Has a Hidden Game-Ending Scorestreak
A hidden game-ending scorestreak has been found in the Call of Duty: WW2 multiplayer.
Streamer Pwnstarz has claimed the "Worlds First Live Nuke in COD WW2", and you can watch the footage here. Pwnstarz was playing on PC when he accrued a 25 kill streak without dying on multiplayer map Gibraltar.
After a prompt to activate the Scorestreak, sure enough, a V2 Rocket bombards the map causing a great flash and a whole lot of screen shake. Every player alive on the map will then (naturally) cease to exist.
Pwnstarz' game ends shortly after, but according to Eurogamer, it isn't clear whether this is due to the rocket itself or the score limit for the match being reached.

Zelda: Breath of the Wild Gets Xenoblade DLC Soon
During a Xenoblade Chronicles 2-focused Nintendo Direct today, Nintendo announced new content coming to The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, including a Xenoblade-themed outfit.
On November 9, players will be able to download a new side quest that includes a costume based on Rex, the protagonist of Xenoblade Chronicles 2.
Unfortunately, Nintendo still didn’t give a date for the long-awaited Champion’s Ballad DLC, which we least heard is still planned for 2017.

Zelda Remake Studio Hiring for New “Legend” Project
Grezzo, the development house behind the 3DS remakes of Ocarina of Time and Majora's Mask is recruiting for a new project utilising Unreal Engine 4.
The Japanese development team has posted an "emergency recruitment" notice on its company website. The banner at the top translates to: "Would you like to make a legend together 2".
That 2 is in reference to the fact that Grezzo had previously used the same sentence when hiring for Majora's Mask 3D before it was officially revealed.
The listing asks for C++ programmers with experience in Unreal Engine, as well as 3D character and map modelers, suggesting that the 'Legend' project will be a 3D title made in Unreal Engine 4.
