Mario Odyssey: Amiibo Content Unlockable Without Amiibo
You don't have to worry about owning amiibo to get costumes in Super Mario Odyssey.
On the game's official website, Nintendo notes that "all outfits can be unlocked in-game without amiibo." That implies that even the wedding outfits with the new Super Mario Odyssey amiibo aren't exclusive to the toys. (UPDATE: Nintendo confirmed to IGN that the wedding outfits can also indeed be unlocked without amiibo.)
That said, we here at IGN have reached out to the company for confirmation on this aspect.

KFC’s Colonel Sanders Will Be Playablae in WWE 2K18
The one and only KFC founder and fast food icon Colonel Sanders will be playable in WWE 2K18.
The news was announced during a stunt at WWE's "Hell in a Cell" pay-per-view event, during which Kurt Angle dressed up as the Colonel and went up against WWE Superstar Heath Slater, who was dressed as the Colonel's arch rival, Puppers Cluckers Chicken.
Players can access Colonel Sanders through the game's Create-a-Superstar Mode. You'll also gain access to two versions of Angle if you pre-order the game. Check out the screenshots (above and below) for an in-game look at Colonel Sanders in action.
Why The Last Jedi’s Director Suggests You May Not Want to Watch the New Trailer
Star Wars: The Last Jedi's new trailer will be released today, Oct. 9, just a couple of months ahead of the film's full release. But if you're looking to go in completely free of spoilers, the film's director Rian Johnson has a suggestion.
Ahead of the trailer's debut, and preorder tickets going on sale, Johnson tweeted in response to a fan's concern about whether the trailer should be avoided to keep the moviegoing experience as fresh and surprising as possible.
"I a
legitimately torn. If you want to come in clean, absolutely avoid it. But it’s gooooood.....," Johnson wrote.
Overwatch Halloween Terror Event Skins Leaked
Some new skins from Overwatch's upcoming Halloween Terror event have seemingly leaked.
Reddit user Mnemosynaut has reportedly discovered images of the new Halloween-inspired skins for Mei, Symmetra, Reaper, and Zanyatta. Check out what appear to be the new skins for Mei and Symmetra below.

Fear Effect Sedna Release Window Revealed
Fear Effect Sedna, the crowdfunded sequel to the original action adventure game, will be released in early 2018.
The launch window was revealed on Twitter, along with the announcement that, in addition to Xbox One, PS4, and PC, the game will also be released for Nintendo Switch.
Fear Effect Sedna is being developed by French indie studio Sushee. The game had a successful Kickstarter campaign last year, and is said to be a new Fear Effect with completely new gameplay, rather than being Fear Effect 3.

Batman: The Animated Series Heading to Blu-Ray
Warner Bros. has announced that Batman: The Animated Series - the beloved cartoon adaptation of the Dark Knight's adventures from the 1990s - will be arriving in remastered form on Blu-ray in 2018.
The announcement was made at New York Comic-Con as part of a special panel held to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the original series, with long-standing Batman voice actor Kevin Conroy, Tara Strong (Batgirl in The New Batman Adventures) and original series producers Bruce Timm and Alan Burnett.
