Game of Thrones’ Grammar Fix Is the Best Recurring Joke

Full spoilers for Game of Thrones' "The Spoils of War" continue below.

Blink and you would have missed one of the best throwbacks in the latest episode of Game of Thrones.

"How many men do we have in the North to fight him?" Jon Snow asks Davos Seaworth of the Night King. "Ten thousand? Less?"

"Fewer," corrects Davos under his breath.

This clever line is a reference to one of the best and most personable character traits about Davos's former commander, Stannis Baratheon.

Over the seasons when he was alive, fans were quick to pick up on the fact the late, great Stannis had a penchant for proper grammar.

Game of Thrones: Who Are the Golden Company?

Full spoilers for Game of Thrones: Season 7, "The Spoils of War," continue below.

Cersei Lannister's claim over Westeros just got a significant bit weaker. The climax of "The Spoils of War" saw Daenerys Targaryen fly in on Drogon to wipe out Cersei's recently acquired food and resources, as well as a huge chunk of the Lannister army. But, as we've learned time and again, don't count the Mad Queen out just yet.

Earlier in the episode, Cersei met with the Iron Bank's Tycho Nestoris, already ready to move on to the next order of business as though the crown's debt to the Iron Bank was paid. At the time, Tycho asked Cersei what the next thing the Iron Bank could assist her with, and she mentioned needing help growing her army and navy. In specific, she said Qyburn has been making "overtures" to the Golden Company.

Iron Fist Showrunner Defends Danny Rand’s Personality

While Iron Fist's first season received criticism for its depiction of Danny Rand, showrunner Scott Buck explained how viewers may not have expected the character to be a foil to the other Defenders.

Speaking to IGN during the Television Critics Association summer press tour, Buck told IGN that he and the show's creative team designed Danny as someone who is "always going to see the good side of things and always going to be an optimist," rather than another "dark, brooding character."

"But do you really want four dark, brooding Defenders?...We created him to fit into that world and be a counterpoint to some of the others," Buck said. "Perhaps people were not aware that there were reasons for creating a character with that sort of specific

Once Upon a Time is launching a creative reboot with its upcoming seventh season. Jumping into the future with a new story following an adult Henry Mills (Andrew J. West), a new "story book" and a new evil curse, Season 7's premiere is in many ways a new pilot.

Several notable actors made the jump from Season 6 to Season 7, including Lana Parilla and Colin O'Donoghue, but they will be playing new twists on familiar characters. The two stars joined West, Dania Ramirez, Gabrielle Anwar and showrunners Adam Horowitz and Eddie Kitsis at the 2017 summer TV Critics' Association press tour to talk about how the show is changing heading into the new season -- and what very, very important element stays the same.

Agent Carter ran for two seasons on ABC from 2015-2016, while the character of Peggy Carter (Hayley Atwell) has appeared in several Marvel Cinematic Universe films, having first debuted in Captain America: The First Avenger in 2011.
