The best GeForce GTX 1080 Ti is the EVGA SC2 with ICX, if you can find it for a reasonable price online. With that out of the way, here's a breakdown of the current situation with this now-legendary GPU.
Little did we know in March of 2017 when the GeForce GTX 1080 Ti launched we'd be here at the end of 2018, trying to find one in stock for MSRP. First the mining craze drove prices through the roof, then the RTX launch wasn't what a lot of people expected, so Nvidia's last-gen flagship is still in high demand. Also not helping; reports that there is dwindling supply and production has ceased to make way for the RTX family of GPUs. The bottom line is, if you want a GTX 1080 Ti you better get one soon. Otherwise, you'll be left with the used GPU market as your only source, and given the mining craze has died down there's a high probability that any card you find could have been used for it, which makes a lot of buyers nervous since they've likely been running for months (or longer) around the clock.
Game of Thrones: You Can Now Learn High Valyrian
You can now learn one of Game of Thrones' ancient languages, High Valyrian, thanks to Duolingo.
Quartz reports the company teamed up with the show's linguist David J. Peterson to create a free online course that teaches Daenerys Targaryen's mother tongue. You can try it out on Duolingo's website now, and it will soon be available on iOS and Android devices.
The course is free, with an option to pay for a subscription to remove ads. You'll learn everything from how to simply say father, which is "kepa" in High Valyrian, to more complex phrases like "Daenerys praises the dragon," which translates to "Daenerys zaldrīzī rijas."
Star Wars Armada Buying Guide
Star Wars Armada is a sprawling game that replicates the feel of the franchise’s large-scale space battles. Commanding enormous flagships and smaller squadrons of fighters on the tabletop provides a surprisingly authentic experience that will appeal to fans of both Star Wars and tactical board games. Collectors, too, will find a lot to love about Armada thanks to the beautifully detailed miniature ships that look just as good on a display shelf as they do on the table.
There’s one big catch, though--this being a Fantasy Flight Games product, there’s a seemingly-endless sea of expansions (more than two dozen, by our count) that have been released in the years since Armada’s debut. Some of them are relatively inexpensive and add a small ship or two to your collection, while others are prohibitively expensive (looking at you, Super Star Destroyer). With this guide, we’ve assembled a list of some of the more essential expansions you should seek out if you just picked up a core set and are looking to jump start your collection.

Finn Balor Has Moved Beyond Bullet Club…for Now
Finn Balor, and his "Demon" persona, will step through the ropes in a few days time to square off against Bray Wyatt at WWE SummerSlam - emanating from the Barclays Center in Brooklyn on Sunday, August 20th.
On the same card that will feature Shinsuke Nakamura vs. Jinder Mahal for the WWE Championship and Braun Strowman, Roman Reigns, Samoa Joe and Brock Lesnar all battling for the WWE Universal Championship, Balor will don the black body paint and channel his inner torment to topple Wyatt and thwart the mind games.
But that wasn't always Balor's answer to Bray Wyatt. When I spoke to Balor, before this week's RAW, he had no intention of becoming the "Demon," saying...

The screenings will take place on Sunday, September 10th and Wednesday, September 13th in more than 600 theaters across the U.S. Tickets can be purchased online by visiting FathomEvents.com or at participating theater box offices.
Luke Skywalker’s Best Stories Beyond the Movies
As one of the main characters in the Star Wars galaxy, Luke Skywalker isn't suffering from a shortage of stories. You can see him front and center in the whole of the original trilogy and for slightly less time in The Force Awakens. Yes, that is a joke.
Initially, Luke Skywalker was a farm boy on an out of the way planet and didn't seem to have much beyond a vague idea about what was happening in the broader universe. The Empire hadn't found a resource to exploit on Tatooine, so the white buckets of stormtroopers weren't a common sight -- certainly not as common as in towns and on planets that were hosting garrisons. Luke was thrown into the bigger picture headfirst after he purchased C-3PO and R2-D2 and met Obi-Wan Kenobi. He went through a dazzling amount of change in a relatively short period of time.
Lucasfilm Banks on Tradition With Obi-Wan Movie
Thursday's news that Lucasfilm is indeed developing a standalone Obi-Wan Kenobi movie strongly suggests Lucasfilm is doubling down on known, commercially proven characters and veteran filmmakers when it comes to their still-burgeoning Star Wars anthology films.
The selection of that venerable character -- first played by Alec Guinness in the original trilogy and then Ewan McGregor in the subsequent prequels -- signals that Lucasfilm wants to bring stability to these Star Wars Stories, the first two of which -- Rogue One and Han Solo -- have been rocked by production challenges and behind-the-scenes drama, especially when it comes to the directors involved. Rogue One ended up cracking $1 billion at the global box office, but not without months of reports about the troubled production and a significant creative overhaul in which veteran filmmaker Tony Gilroy played a key role.
