Hellboy Reboot Casts Deadpool Villain

Deadpool villain Ed Skrein has reportedly joined the cast of the Hellboy reboot in a main role.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Skrein will portray Major Ben Daimio, a military member of the Bureau for Paranormal Research and Defense. The character is able to turn into a jaguar when he gets angry or is in pain because of a prior supernatural incident.

Skrein played main villain Ajax in Deadpool and also starred as Daario Naharis in Game of Thrones before being replaced by Michiel Huisman.

Age of Empires IV Announced

Age of Empires IV is officially in the works, Microsoft announced today at Gamescom 2017.

According to a post on Xbox Wire, the latest entry in the long-running real-time strategy series is being developed by Relic Entertainment, the studio behind the Company of Heroes and Warhammer 40,000 games. A release date has yet to be announced.

remastered version of the first Age of Empires is also coming, and will launch on October 19 as a Windows 10 exclusive. Called Age of Empires: Definitive Edition, this remaster includes 4K support, various gameplay enhancements, a completely remastered soundtrack and multiplayer support.

Gamescom 2017: Overwatch Junkertown Map Revealed

New Overwatch Escort Map, Junkertown, has been revealed at Gamescom, as well as an animated short.

Former home to Junkrat and Roadhog, Overwatch’s new Junkertown Escort Map will task players to escort a payload laden with treasure and explosives through a post-apocalyptic town come battle arena.

Early story details reveal that this shabby map was once an Omnium (where the likes of Bastion were constructed) and has since become home to the Junkers and their boss, the Queen of Junkertown.

As well as the usual slew of screenshots and a trailer, Blizzard have also released an in-game video featuring some hilarious back and forth from Junkrat and Roadhog.

This reveal precedes an absolutely packed Gamescom schedule from Blizzard. Including a brand new Overwatch character short that’s set to be livestreamed at a Blizzard Reveal Ceremony on August 23.

WWE SummerSlam '17 is in the history books, folks.

Many titles changed hands, many memorable moments were created, and many Brocks got put through many tables as "The Biggest Party of the Summer" served up six hours of action.

Battlefield 1: In the Name of the Tsar Expansion Detailed

Ahead of its release next month EA has revealed the full details about Battlefield 1's upcoming expansion, In the Name of the Tsar.

As detailed on PlayStation Blog, the expansion will feature six new maps, a new mode, new weapons, and two new classes.

One of the new maps, Lupkow Pass, is now playable for season pass owners. Verticality is vital in this snow-capped hillside that sees the Austro-Hungarian forces and the Russian Imperial Army battle each other.

Samurai Jack: Complete Series Blu-ray Set Announced

Now that the Emmy-winning Adult Swim animated series' five-season run is over, Samurai Jack: The Complete Series will be released on Blu-ray, and Digital HD October 17, 2017. The set features all 62 episodes of the show along with bonus content, exclusive featurettes, behind the scenes extras, and special commentary.

Watch an exclusive extra from the release below, featuring series creator Genndy Tartakovsky discussing the evolution of the beloved show over its five seasons.

Each episode of the first four seasons has been remastered in HD for the first time. The box set also features a one-of-a-kind metal art print, created especially for hardcore fans.

Fe Release Window, Switch Version Announced

Fe, the upcoming platformer from Swedish developer Zoink Games, will be released in early 2018, Electronic Arts announced today at Gamescom.

In addition to Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC, the publisher confirmed the EA Originals title will also launch for Nintendo Switch. Check out the trailer EA released alongside today's announcement below:

In Fe, which was announced last year at E3, players take on the role of a cub who awakes to find itself in a forest. They must use sound to communicate as they explore the world and attempt to rescue its wildlife from the Silent Ones, a machine foe that threatens the forest.

DC Reveals Epic Doomsday Clock Art

Doomsday Clock writer Geoff Johns has offered a new glimpse of the upcoming mini-series, which pits Superman against Watchmen's Doctor Manhattan with the fate of the DC Universe hanging in the balance.

This morning Johns tweeted several covers for Doomsday Clock #1. First up is the main cover by Gary Frank:

Interestingly, that appears to be Rorschach hanging out with the rest of the protesters at the top right. Is this a sign that Rorschach has also made the jump from the world of Watchmen to the DCU?
