The double-tough characters on The 100 have been through an abundance of agony over the past four seasons and we've got a the show's awesome Comic-Con sizzle reel to share with you as proof!
Watch as young Madi (Imogen Tear), the Nightblooded child who Clarke (Eliza Taylor) partnered with after Praimfaya, narrate the "story" of the series as if it were a fairy tale. From the initial journey to the Earth's surface all the way to the death wave of radiation, The 100's certainly got adventure to spare. Check it out!
Seen here for the first time, aside from the new voiceover, are the images of a ruined and decimated Polis and Arkadia, showing us that nothing was spared on the surface. So what's become of those who retreated underground and the few who soared up into space? We'll have to wait and see.
WB Reportedly Planning for Ben Affleck’s Exit From DCEU
Ben Affleck's Batman may not be a part of the DCEU for much longer, as Warner Bros. is reportedly planning for the actor's exit from the DC film franchise.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, a knowledgable source told the outlet that Warner Bros. is working on a graceful way to transition Affleck's Caped Crusader out of the DCEU. This change in course will reportedly begin to take form in one of the studio's upcoming DC movies.
When Affleck's alleged departure from the DCEU will occur has not yet been decided. Warner Bros. Pictures Group chief Toby Emmerich told THR the studio wants to keep Affleck in the role. "Ben is our Batman. We love him as Batman. We want to keep him in the cowl as long as we can," he said.

Robert Kirkman on Possible Walking Dead/FTWD Crossover
Fear the Walking Dead will return for the second half of its third season on September 10th and at Comic-Con, during the FTWD panel hosted by Chris Hardwick, Walking Dead creator Robert Kirkman addressed the idea of actually crossing over the characters from the two shows or, in the very least, creating a more concrete connection somehow.
After joking that Kim Dickens' Madison might be the long lost sister of Rick, Daryl, or Carol (since Madison's from Alabama), and then a few more laughs over there possibly being a magical telephone that Daryl discovers in The Walking Dead: Season 8 that allows him to call Madison, Kirkman got more serious and stated that it would be something they'd like to do if they could figure it out.
iZombie SDCC Sizzle Reel Sets Stage for Season 4
The Walking Dead universe isn't the only hot zombie property invading Comic-Con this week. The CW's iZombie, fresh off a killer third season, unleashed an awesome "story so far" sizzle reel video for the fans in attendance at the show's Q&A panel and we've got your first look at it.
Take a brain-devouring stroll down memory lane as we look back at how iZombie basically transformed from a series where zombies were in hiding and Rose McIver's Liv Moore could lead a secret life where she helped the Seattle PD with unsolved murders, to a series where the world now knows that zombies exist and all hell is breaking loose. Feast your peepers...
In some other cool news, revealed at the iZombie panel, actor Robert Knepper (Prison Break, Twin Peaks), who plays the scheming Angus DeBeers, will be a full series regular in Season 4.
New Steven Universe Character Revealed for Save the Light
Steven Universe: Save the Light dropped its first official gameplay trailer today, which unveiled new and returning characters and showed off some of the “fusion characters” that will be available in battle.
While the upcoming action RPG from Cartoon Network still hasn’t revealed its main villain, the trailer does spotlight a new gem exclusive to the game, named Squaridot. Squaridot can be seen in the new footage defending the Great North in a spherical attack drone.
See the new Steven Universe: Save the Light trailer below.
Peridot was also revealed as a playable character, shown constructing a toaster turret during one of Save the Light’s turn-based battles. Some of the fusion characters available in combat include Stevonnie (Steven and Connie), Opal (Amethyst and Pearl) and Sardonyx (Garnet and Pearl).
Metroid: Samus Returns Could Be the Metroid: Zero Mission Follow-Up I’ve Always Wanted
Metroid: Zero Mission introduced me to sidescrolling Metroid games, and while that form of Samus Aran's adventures has remained as frozen as a Chozo statue ever since, I've long wanted to see the franchise's older iteration be given the same treatment. Zero Mission remains one of my favorite platforming experiences more than a decade later, having made something old feel fresh and as vital as when it first debuted.
Thankfully, playing through the demo of Metroid: Samus Returns, which IGN first went hands-on with at E3, has me hopeful it could be the Zero Mission sequel I've wanted all this time. Though I'm wary some changes could rob the full experience of the franchise's magic, many of the additions felt like smart ways of modernizing the original game without completely altering the adventure players remember.
