Pokemon Go Fest Represented the Best and Worst of a Bumpy First Year

I’d only been at Pokemon Go Fest for five minutes the first time I heard someone shout that an ultra-rare Pokemon was nearby. With 20,000 of the most dedicated Pokemon Go fans from around the world in one spot, it wasn’t surprising to see that people were passionate, and the friendly, cooperative spirit that started the day represented everything great about Pokemon Go and its community.

As players ran past me, I joined them, running toward a 10-foot tall physical PokeStop and excited for my first chance to catch an Unown, one of the rarest Pokemon in the game. People were laughing, the weather was great, and everyone had a smile on their face. As I got closer to where the crowd was gathered, I saw Unown pop up on the in-game map. Pokemon Go Fest was already a blast, I thought to myself.

Everything You Missed in The Walking Dead’s New Trailer

Since the Season 7 finale of The Walking Dead we’ve heard a lot of talk from the camp behind the zombie thriller about the intensity of the upcoming season. At Comic-Con, we got our first look at what lies ahead for the series and it seems to deliver on the promise of war between the communities and all the skull-splitting moments fans have been waiting for.

While the action-packed trailer was full of the usual gore, guns, and the foul-mouthed villain fans have grown accustomed to, there were plenty of notable moments that may inspire some questions. We’re going to breakdown the biggest moments from The Walking Dead’s Comic-Con 2017 trailer.

New to Netflix for August

Here’s What’s Leaving Netflix in August

It's time once again to check in with Netflix and see what TV shows and movies will be expiring from the site in the next few weeks. The beginning of August will signal the end for both Babe movies, To Kill a Mockingbird, Superbad, and all seasons of Young Justice, Justice League and Justice League Unlimited.

And speaking of leagues, all seven seasons of FX's The League are leaving along with all four seasons of ABC's Revenge and the first four seasons of American Dad!

An Xbox One S Madden NFL 18 bundle has been announced.

According to Microsoft, the $279 USD bundle will launch in U.S., Canada, and Mexico the same day as the game, on August 25. You can pre-order the bundle starting today.

The bundles comes with a 500GB Xbox One S, a standard edition of Madden 18, a two week Xbox Live Gold trial, a 20 percent discount code for NFLShop.com, and a one month subscription for Xbox Game Pass.

GoT: The Size of Dragon Balerion Compared to Drogon

Warning: Game of Thrones: Season 7 spoilers below. Check out our review of "Stormborn."

During last night's episode of Game of Thrones, we see Cersei Lannister (Lena Headey) standing in front of the skull of Balerion the Black Dread, providing a glimpse at just how large the dragon of Aegon the Conqueror actually was, and how it compares in size to Daenerys Targaryen's (Emilia Clarke) dragon Drogon.
