Preacher: Season 2 Poster Debut
Jesse, Tulip, and Cassidy hit the roaring road, on the search for God Almighty, as Preacher returns to AMC on Sunday, June 25th at 10/9c.
We've got a first look at some "powerful" new Season 2 key art for you, as well as a revealing chat with star Dominic Cooper, where he discusses this year's crazy road-trip premise, Jesse's continued mishandling of the Genesis power, Tulip's secret, insane new fights scenes, and more.
Based on the popular cult comic book franchise of the same name, Preacher is an absurdly twisted and action packed thrill ride. When Jesse Custer (Cooper), a small-town preacher with a criminal past, realizes God is absent from Heaven, Jesse sets out to find Him. Along for the ride are Tulip (Ruth Negga), Jesse’s volatile true love, and Cassidy (Joseph Gilgun), an 119 year old Irish vampire and Jesse’s best mate. In Season 2, the gang ends up in New Orleans, where they must dodge local gangsters, dangerous secret agents in white suits, and the Saint of Killers (Graham McTavish), an unstoppable killer cowboy from Hell.

The HoloLens Inventor Thinks “the Phone Is Already Dead”
Microsoft's Alex Kipman, HoloLens inventor has proclaimed that mobile phones as a device are dead.
While discussing the medium, Bloomberg reports that Kipman is sure that the phones will soon be replaced by hybrid devices more akin to the HoloLens. “The phone is already dead,” he says. “People just haven’t realized.”
This sentiment is seemingly echoed throughout Microsoft as the company focuses on their other devices, despite the potential 1.5 billion smartphones likely to be sold this year.
Microsoft has said it would rather stay out of the mobile phone market entirely unless they can offer something truly different. Marketing chief Yusuf Mehdi has even stated “We’re not going to come out with another device that someone’s done,” remarking on the stagnant nature of innovation within the industry.
Canceled Sonic Hoverboard Game Revealed
SEGA might not have been the first developer that thought Sonic should go fast on a hoverboard.
Unseen64, on the Did You Know Gaming? YouTube channel, has unveiled Sonic Extreme, a canceled project predating the somewhat similar Sonic Riders. Developer Vision Scape Interactive created the prototype for the futuristic sports game, in which the Blue Blur and Shadow the Hedgehog skate around a level based on Green Hill Zone.
Vision Scape was known for the games SeaBlade on Xbox and Tech Deck: Bare Knuckle Grind for PC. The San Diego company also worked with SEGA on the cinematics for Sonic Heroes.
Overwatch Becomes Activision’s 8th Billion-Dollar Franchise
Overwatch has earned Activision-Blizzard over $1 billion in less than a year on sale.
Announced as part of the company's most recent financial results, the figure makes Overwatch Activision-Blizzard's eighth billion-dollar franchise, sitting alongside the likes of Call of Duty and World of Warcraft.
Last month, Overwatch hit 30 million registered players - perhaps unsurprisingly, the publisher says that it's become Blizzard's fastest-growing new franchise.

Edge of Tomorrow Sequel Is Called ‘Live Die Repeat and Repeat’
The Edge of Tomorrow sequel will see both of the first film's lead actors return, and it has a title - Live Die Repeat and Repeat.
Speaking to Collider, director Doug Liman reiterated that the film's two stars will make a return, and that the project is definitely still in motion:
"We have an amazing story! It’s incredible! Way better than the first film, and I obviously loved the first film. It will be called Live Die Repeat and Repeat. Tom
is excited about it, and Emily Blunt is excited about it. The big question is just when we’ll do it. But it’s not an if, it’s a when."
Once Upon a Time: What to Expect in the Season 6 Finale
Full spoilers for Once Upon a Time continue below.
Once Upon a Time's delightful musical episode might have offered Emma and Hook their happy beginning, but it's the Final Battle showdown with the Black Fairy that looks to have the biggest impact on the ABC series moving forward.
While Once awaits its potential Season 7 pickup (and things are looking likely), OUAT is going to be a very different show if it does come back for another year. Below, find out how showrunners Eddy Kitsis and Adam Horowitz are planning to mix things up if this is a season finale, and what you can expect if it ends up being a series finale.
Micro Machines World Series: Racing Royalty Resurrected
Kevin McCallister had way more Micro Machines than I did. I was only seven years old when I first saw Home Alone so that was obviously my primary concern at the time.
One of the slightly less deadly booby traps for the hapless Harry and Marv, Kevin’s collection covered the whole floor. He had more than I could count! I had about 12, plus an oil can that turned into a mechanic’s garage that I got for not dying while I had my tonsils removed.
But despite a supreme slice of product placement in what would become 1990’s highest-grossing film worldwide, 1990 was actually a disaster for the home of Micro Machines: US toy manufacturer Galoob. The recession of the early ’90s had kicked the company right in the crotch.
How Shadowverse Became a Major Player in the CCG Genre
When I first heard about Shadowverse last year, I had no expectations whatsoever. My initial reaction was to assume that it was simply the latest in the stream of digital CCGs that were springing up in the wake of Hearthstone’s incredible success. I didn’t know anything of the story behind the game, and while I’d come across developer Cygames’ work in a tangential sense (mostly at TGS), I didn’t even know the studio by name.
It soon became clear that Shadowverse was worth paying attention to, however. Hopping in revealed a pretty unique experience – each class had a very clear identity (often driven by bespoke mechanics), the core gameplay incorporated the ability to “evolve” cards, and the card design gave combo and control archetypes plenty of viable tools to use.
