Deadpool Animated Series Announced for FXX

FXX has ordered an untitled Deadpool "adult action-comedy" animated series, set to debut in 2018.

The 10-episode first season is executive produced by Atlanta's Donald Glover and Stephen Glover, who will also serve as showrunners and writers on the upcoming show.

No plot details or casting announcements were made at this time. The untitled Marvel's Deadpool series will also be executive produced by Marvel's Jeph Loeb and Jim Chory and be produced by Marvel Television, FX Productions, and ABC Signature Studios. This series will mark the second Marvel TV series for the FX family of channels, with Noah Hawley's Legion having premiered earlier this year on FX.

"Donald Glover is an incredibly gifted and versatile artist who’ll bring the untitled Marvel’s Deadpool series to life with the same intense, singular vision as his breakout hit Atlanta," said Nick Grad, co-president of original programming for FX Networks and FX Productions. "With the success of Legion, we’re looking forward to again partnering with Marvel Television to create a series that is bold, striking and entirely original."

The 100: How Will Kane React to Clarke’s Shocking Choice?

In the midst of a huge storyline for The 100, there’s also a notable event going on behind-the-scenes in this week’s episode, as Henry Ian Cusick makes his directorial debut on the series.

Having played Marcus Kane since the series began, Cusick directs “The Other Side,” which depicts the fallout from Clarke’s shocking decision last week, locking most of her people inside the bunker to save them, which simultaneously condemned everyone outside the bunker – Kane and Octavia included – to death.

I spoke to Cusick about how he came to direct on The 100, what the experience was like, how Kane is dealing with Clarke’s decision, and more.

IGN: How did you decide you were interested in directing an episode and how did it come to be that you ended up doing it?

Wipeout Omega Collection will feature a retro, original PlayStation-style wraparound box sleeve.

The wraparound sleeve - which strongly resembles the first Wipeout's cover, released way back in 1995 - comes complete with the original PlayStation logo, and artistic impressions of scuffs, folds and tears along the edges of the sleeve to give it that PS1 pre-loved look.

Jeff Goldblum has discussed bringing his "saucy, sassy" chaos theorist character, Dr. Ian Malcolm back for Jurassic World 2.

Speaking to Entertainment Weekly, the fan favourite actor explained when his filming begins, and what makes Malcolm enticing enough to don the leather coat once more.

"Off I go in a few weeks to London, where they’ve been hard at work, and I’ll try to contribute something to the plate of dino-entertainment. I like my character. I think my character is a saucy, sassy man of some integrity and deep thinking. And of course, that whole world continues to be popular, slam-bang, top entertainment."
