Man of Steel 2: Kingsman Director is Reportedly WB’s Top Choice to Direct
Warner Bros. is reportedly eyeing Kingsman: The Secret Service and X-Men: First Class director Matthew Vaughn to helm Man of Steel 2.
According to an unconfirmed report from Collider, Vaughn has been in talks to direct the Superman sequel, though discussions are said to still be very much in the early stages. Even if a deal can't be struck for Vaughn to direct Man of Steel 2, Warner Bros. is still interested in the filmmaker directing another movie in the DCEU, according to the report.
New Warner Bros. president Toby Emmerich is said to be particularly interested in having Vaughn as the latest director to join the DECU. Emmerich was reportedly one of the main reasons why Matt Reeves recently signed on to direct The Batman.

Sony will soon bring PlayStation 4 game streaming support to PlayStation Now.
Currently, PlayStation Now offers over 480 PlayStation 3 games (in certain regions - the service isn't available in Australia and many parts of Europe), but soon the streaming service will add PlayStation 4 games to the library. Sony made the announcement on the PlayStation Blog, saying a private test for PlayStation 4 games on PlayStation Now will start in the next few weeks.
This year will see other significant changes to PlayStation Now as well. Sony is dropping hardware support for the service on PlayStation 3, Vita and TVs, meaning PlayStation Now will eventually only work on PlayStation 4 and Windows PC.
How Kong: Skull Island Stacks Up With Modern Film Series
Kong: Skull Island ascended to the top of the box office over the weekend, beating out previous champion Logan in the process. But how did the monster movie stack up against the other modern-era films featuring the humongous gorilla?
Well, when it comes to unadjusted opening weekends, Kong: Skull Island stands atop the list with $61 million. Though if they were adjusted, Peter Jackson's King Kong from 2005 would barely break away with $63.6 million. See how the movies compare in the chart below, along with the rest of the modern franchise. (Numbers via Box Office Mojo)
