Spider-Man 3 Scene Inexplicably Used in Life Trailer
Unused footage filmed for Spider-Man 3 appears in a recent TV spot for the Ryan Reynolds sci-fi film, Life.
Reddit user toomuchsoull spotted this clip (below) from Toby Maguire's third Spider-Man flilm and noticed just how identical it looks to a clip used in the Life ad. The only difference between the two shots is one specific mustache-wearing extra, who appears in Spider-Man 3 but is absent in Life.
The shots are also from slightly different angles of a street in New York, however the footage appears to be from the same shoot given all of the actors featured in in both are wearing the same outfits and are seen in very similar positions. Check out the two shots below.

What Remains of Edith Finch Release Date Announced
The release dates for What Remains of Edith Finch, PaRappa the Rapper Remastered, and four more games have been unveiled as part of PlayStation's Play Collective spring showcase.
From The Unfinished Swan developer Giant Sparrow, Edith Finch will launch on April 25, while the 20th anniversary edition of PaRappa the Rapper, which was first showcased at PSX 2016, will debut on April 4.
Annapurna Pictures' new game publishing division, Annapurna Interactive, recently announced it had picked up publishing duties for What Remains of Edith Finch, while a demo released during PSX allowed us to go hands-on with the remastered take on PaRappa.
Edward James Olmos Confirmed for Blade Runner 2049
Edward James Olmos has confirmed he will indeed return as Gaff in Blade Runner 2049.
In an interview with TheTRENDTalk (first spotted by A Perfect Organism podcast, via Bleeding Cool), Olmos said he will reprise his role from the original film. "Yes, I am going to be Gaff in Blade Runner 2049," he revealed. Olmos said he signed a non-disclosure agreement, so that's why he's been so light-lipped on his involvement until now.
Rogue One’s Scarif Got Its Name Because of a Barista
Rogue One: A Star Wars Story director Gareth Edwards has revealed how he came up with Scarif as the name for the Imperial-occupied tropical planet that serves as a key location in the film.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Edwards shared the story during a panel at SXSW, saying the origin of the name came from a barista who misspelled his name on the side of a coffee cup. "I must have said, 'It's Gareth,' and they wrote 'Scarif,'" he said.
During the panel Edwards also shared a few other fun facts about the film, revealing that Peter Jackson was on set for the filming of one of the movie's key scenes at the very end. He also credited Lucasfilm president Kathleen Kennedy for being the first to suggest the film's dramatic conclusion, which Edwards has discussed at length in the past.
Full Throttle Remastered Release Date Announced
Double Fine announced release dates and pre-order details for Everything and Full Throttle Remastered.
Everything, in which anything you see in-game is a playable character, comes to PS4 March 21. Full Throttle Remastered hits PC, PS4, and PS Vita April 18. Both games are listed for $15 USD.
Everything is by David O'Reilly, an Irish artist and creator of god-sim Mountain. In it, you can take on the role of anything you see, from an animal, to a rock, to a star in the sky. Double Fine says it features "one million+ years of gameplay."
Rocket League Developer Says No Plans for Sequel
Rocket League developer Psyonix has confirmed it has no plans to make a sequel to its vehicular sports game anytime soon.
Instead, studio vice president Jeremy Dunham told Kinda Funny Games (via Game Informer) that Psyonix plans to continue to focus on supporting the current game's healthy and growing community, as Rocket League has now sold 10.5 million and boasts a player base of nearly 29 million registered users.
While that latter figure includes Playstation Plus sales and split-screen players who may not have necessarily purchased the game, Dunham noted that seven million players were active this past month.
Helen Mirren Asked to Be in Fate of the Furious
Vin Diesel has revealed the course of events that led to Helen Mirren joining the cast of The Fate of the Furious. Instead of seeking her out, Diesel was actually approached by Mirren, who asked to be written in.
"She came up to me at a party last year and said, 'I want to be in Fast & Furious with you,'" Diesel said in the latest issue of Total Film (via GameRadar).
He said he had been working with the writers on the story a year before that time, but he found a way to work her in. "The script was
greenlit, but she told the right person, because a week later she got written in."

Digital Extremes and iam8bit have partnered up for a line of Warframe merchandise, including several art prints and a 2X LP vinyl soundtrack.
Among the collection is a set of Patricio Betteo abstract art prints, coming in a 6X6 inch giclee format featuring all 32 Warframes. They'll be available in blind bags of five that are randomly assorted, as well as in a full set of 32. Check out an exclusive look at the Nidus print below:

Nintendo Switch Reportedly Sells 1.5 Million Units in First Week
The Nintendo Switch has reportedly had a strong start to its life, selling around 1.5 million units in its first week.
According to GamesIndustry.biz, SuperData used figures provided by Famitsu and GfK to come to first week sales totals for the main console regions. These estimates are for sell-through of consoles to customers, rather than just to retailers.
Half a million Switch consoles were sold in the US, while 360,000 were sold in Japan. Europe "isn't far behind" - the UK had 85,000 units sold, and France had a little more with 110,000. We're now in the second week of the Switch's life, so these numbers will no doubt be bigger now.
