Atlanta: Season 2 Delayed Until 2018 Due to Star Wars

At the Television Critics Association press tour today, there was good news/bad news for Donald Glover fans. The good news is Glover -- who appears this summer in Spider-Man: Homecoming -- has signed a new overall television production deal with FX, but the bad news is we won’t get a second season of Atlanta until 2018.

FX executives John Landgraf, Nick Grad and Eric Schrier said that while they wished Atlanta would be back this year, when Glover got the opportunity to play Lando Calrissian in the Star Wars young Han Solo movie, they understood it was one he couldn’t pass on. With Glover serving as the creator, executive producer and sometime writer and director on Atlanta, there was no way to have the series back on the air this year, given his Star Wars commitments.

Does Deadpool Really Have a Shot at the Oscars?

Ryan Reynolds tweeted a mock "For Your Consideration" Deadpool ad to Academy members last February just days before the Oscars were held. Now, almost a year later and mere days before Oscar nomination voting closes, the merc with a mouth's movie is back in the Academy Awards conversation but in a far more serious way.

Having earned a Producers Guild of America nomination this week as one of the year's best films, Deadpool has a chance at doing what The Dark Knight couldn't and become the first superhero blockbuster to score an Academy Award nomination for Best Picture. But it's a long shot.

Mars Astronauts Could Go Mad on the Journey

There are plans to one day send humans to Mars, but a combination of factors could seriously risk their mental health on the journey, a new study has found.

According to New Scientist, the study from the US National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine say isolation, radiation and other dangers could interact with each other and be harmful to astronauts on long term space missions.

“Two of the most critical issues are the radiation exposure beyond low Earth orbit and the psychosocial effects of confinement and isolation,” said Carol Scott-Conner at the University of Iowa, chair of the report's committee.
