Logan: Take a Closer Look at Those Fake Comics Pages
Longtime Marvel comic book editor Joe Quesada (Iron Man, Daredevil) has shared some fake comic book pages from the third Wolverine film, Logan.
In the recent second trailer for Logan, Hugh Jackman is seen holding a fake X-Men comic book. As it turns out, director James Mangold asked Quesada to work on artwork for the comic book. Mangold also enlisted the help of Dan Panosian, who has worked on Thor, Wolverine, and Capatain America comics, to recreate Quesada's digital penciling for a more '90s ink and coloring aesthetic.

The nominations for the 89th Academy Awards have been announced, and La La Land is leading the pack with 14 salutes under its belt, including Best Picture, Best Director, and Best Original Song.

Meryl Streep has also had her name inked into the history books as the most nominated performer in Oscar history, having scooped a salute for her lead role in Florence Foster Jenkins.

Riverdale: Series Premiere Review
Forget the bright colors, harmless teenage hijinks and all-American purity of the Archie comic books that you grew up with (or flipped through while waiting in the checkout line at the grocery store) and get ready for something with a bit more bite. Debuting Thursday night, Riverdale presents all of the classic Archie characters and relationships in one form or another, but now the small town is a sinister place that can no longer hide its many secrets. A murder mystery sets the eerie tone of the show while scandals of all kinds are introduced until you’re convinced that no one in this place is what they appear to be. That’s the fun of Riverdale, yet another check in the win column for The CW’s comic book adaptations (Riverdale, like the CW's DC Comics-based series, is executive produced by Greg Berlanti).
The Punisher’s Thomas Jane Joining Predator Reboot
Thomas Jane, the star of 2004's The Punisher, is joining the cast of the upcoming Predator reboot.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Jane is in final negotiations to join the Shane Black-directed film, though Jane's role in the movie is unknown for now. Jane recently finished filming Netflix's upcoming movie 1922 based on Stephen King's novella of the same name.
Jane will join a cast led by Boyd Holbrook, who plays the main villain in the upcoming third Wolverine film, Logan. Sicario star Bencio del Toro was in talks to join the film, but was replaced by Holbrook due to a scheduling conflict. Keegan-Michael Key, Trevante Rhodes, Olivia Munn, and Sterling K. Brown all recently joined The Predator as well.
Legends of Tomorrow Tackles How George Lucas Changed the World
Legends of Tomorrow returns this Tuesday – now airing on a new night – to kick off the second half of Season 2 with an episode that focuses on what exactly Rip Hunter (Arthur Darvill) has been up to since he vanished, and how it involves none other than George Lucas.
Set in 1967, “Raiders of the Lost Art” involves the team finding Rip living the life of a young film student/filmmaker, with Lucas as his classmate and colleague. And Lucas (played by Matt Angel) isn’t there just for a cameo but plays a key role in the story, which involves the timeline changing so that he never made his movies – and the team quickly realizing how much has changed for them as a result, especially for Ray (Brandon Routh) and Nate (Nick Zano).
