How Supergirl Is Getting Superman Right
After a whole season of never truly showing Superman on screen, Supergirl aired its Season 2 premiere with actor Tyler Hoechlin in the role of the Man of Steel.
The brief introduction to his character was packed with Clark Kent-isms that we’ve long missed on screen: a smiling, earnest, dorky man who uses phrases like “lickity split” while talking to Daily Planet boss Perry White. After sensing danger, he immediately runs down an alley, rips open his shirt to reveal the signature S-shield, and launches up, up and away to help Supergirl save the day.
New Supergirl Trailer Features a Big Nod to DC’s Crisis
A new Supergirl trailer teasing what’s in store for season 2 has been released, and it features a big nod to the Crisis on Infinite Earths comic book miniseries.
At around the 0:50 mark, there’s a shot of Superman (Tyler Hoechlin) holding Supergirl (Melissa Benoist) in his arms, which looks like it was directly taken from a famous Crisis cover.
Crisis on Infinite Earths was released in the mid-80s, and was a major crossover event spanning the DC Comics multiverse where both Barry Allen/The Flash and Supergirl die.

Cuphead Delayed to 2017
Cuphead, Studio MDHR's side-scroller with a 1930s cartoon aesthetic, has been delayed to a mid-2017 release on Xbox One, Steam, and Windows 10.
The studio revealed the delay in a new blog post, saying that "throughout this year we discussed reducing the scope to make a 2016 release, but we made the difficult decision to delay the launch in order to ship with our vision intact."
Cuphead was first revealed at E3 2014 as a part of a host of indie titles being developed for Xbox One, and was later given a 2016 launch window at E3 2015. Originally showcased as a boss-rush game, platforming gameplay was revealed for the upcoming title earlier this year.
Overwatch’s First PVE Event ‘Halloween Terror’ Launches
Following last week's leak detailing Overwatch's next seasonal event, Halloween Terror has officially rolled out to players today and will run for three weeks until November 1.
Starting today the seasonal event replaces all in-game loot boxes with Halloween-inspired jack-o'-lanterns, which house over 100 new cosmetics including: profile icons, sprays, victory poses, emotes, highlight intros, and skins.
Also included in Halloween Terror is Overwatch's first-ever co-op PVE brawl, dubbed Junkenstein's Revenge. In this special mode, four players (Ana, McCree, Hanzo, and Soldier 76) defend Adlersbrunn castle’s doors from waves of bots while fighting off regular appearances from Halloween-skinned versions of Reaper, Roadhog, Mercy, and Junkrat as the titular Dr. Junkenstein.

Some Customers Are Receiving Mafia 3 Deluxe Editions Without Activation Codes
Numerous customers have taken to Amazon to voice frustrations with their copies of Mafia 3's $80.00 deluxe edition on PC. As they tell it, they received the package only to find its activation code necessary to actually playing the game was missing.
The common trend among the one star reviews is that the customer received his or her package, with everything included except the game's instruction manual, which contains the game's activation code, the Season Pass, and the pre-order bonuses.
One customer has updated their review to explain Amazon refunded their money, however at this time it doesn't appear they have been offered replacement codes for the game or pre-order bonuses. We've reached out to 2K about this issue and will update the story should we hear back.
5 Things to Know About Spider-Man’s Clone Conspiracy
Even as Civil War II rages on, another major Marvel crossover is gearing up this month. The Clone Conspiracy is the latest Spider-Man epic from writer Dan Slott. The mini-series and its various tie-ins will explore what happens when the Jackal begins bringing the dead back to life. How can Peter Parker stop a villain with total power over death? And does he even want to?
With the Clone Conspiracy #1 hitting stores on October 12, we want to help Spidey fans gear up for this massive conflict. We're breaking down the five key things you need to know about the state of the Spider-man franchise before diving into this crossover.
There's no surer way to give Peter Parker a headache than to mention the word "clone." Spider-Man has quite a rocky history with clones, dating back to the time he battled his own clone back in 1973's Amazing Spider-Man #149. His clone woes peaked in the mid-'90s thanks to the infamous Clone Saga storyline, where Peter was led to believe he was a clone and was temporarily replaced by Ben Reilly. Clones are something Spidey and his readers would just as soon forget about.
6 Photos of Doctor Strange’s Cast Compared to the Comics
The Sorcerer Supreme is coming to the big screen in Doctor Strange, the latest installment in Disney's Marvel Cinematic Universe films. Benedict Cumberbatch stars as the titular hero in the movie, which will usher the mystical arts into the superhero saga.
Doctor Strange in many ways will be an origin film, explaining surgeon Stephen Strange's transition to the Mystic Arts as he becomes one of the most powerful heroes around. It also will introduce magic into the MCU in a way that is certain to have a lasting impact on the series. And will one of the missing Infinity Stones pop up as well? Only time will tell.
