Star Wars Rebels: The Clone Wars Continue?!

On Saturday, October 22nd, Captain Rex (Dee Bradley Baker) and Kanan (Freddie Prinze Jr.) find themselves in deep trouble on the Star Wars Rebels episode, "The Last Battle."

Ambushed and held prisoner, our heroes discover one last hold out of functioning battle droids, left over from the Clone Wars, led by a dangerous Super Tactical Droid. Check out the photo gallery below followed by a clip from the episode!

The synopsis for "The Last Battle" reads:

On a salvage mission led by Captain Rex, the Ghost crew is captured by a unit of old battle droids determined to fight one last battle to end the clone wars.

The Star Wars Rebels episode, "The Last Battle," airs Saturday, October 22nd on Disney XD.

Longest Running eSports League Discontinued

KeSPA, the Korean eSports Association, has announced the world's longest running eSports league, the StarCraft ProLeague, has been discontinued.

According to the announcement on Facebook, KeSPA chairman Jun ByungHun said "the drop in the number of ProLeague teams and players, difficulty securing league sponsors, and match fixing issues have made it challenging to maintain ProLeague."

The ProLeague was formed in 2003. "The decision to put the past 14 years behind us and discontinue ProLeague was a difficult one and it deeply saddens me to have to also bring you the news that KeSPA will be stopping its operations of ProLeague teams," said Jun Byunghun.

The Flash: DC’s Magenta Makes Her Debut

DC's Magenta (Fargo's Joey King) makes her debut on this week's episode of The Flash, airing tonight.

Check out the episodic images below, which also reveal the return of Earth-2's Harrison and Jesse Wells (the returning Tom Cavanagh and Violett Beane) as Harrison reveals that Jesse now possesses a rather familiar set of superpowers. Take a look!

The synopsis for "Magenta" reads:

"Barry and Team Flash are thrilled to reunite with Earth-2 Wells and Jesse. Wells confides to Barry and Caitlin that Jesse has all the powers of a speedster and has been saving people on his Earth. He is concerned about her safety and wants them to talk her out of using her powers. Meanwhile, Magenta, a new meta who can control metal, terrorizes the city."

Red Dead Redemption 2 Will Be Released Next Year

Rockstar has revealed the title of the newest game in the Red Dead series, Red Dead Redemption 2, which will be released in Fall 2017. A trailer will be released on Thursday.

On Rockstar's Newswire website, Rockstar only lists Xbox One and PS4 as the intended formats, which suggests a similar release model to Grand Theft Auto V, where a PC version was released over a year later.

New Pokemon Demo Accidentally Reveals Entire Pokedex

The Pokemon Sun and Moon demo has now been released for Nintendo 3DS - and has been immediately datamined for the upcoming games' full Pokedex size.

Everything that follows could be considered a spoiler for Pokemon Sun and Moon - if you want to go into the games fresh, I suggest leaving this page now.

Datamining suggests that there will be 800 Pokemon in the Sun and Moon Pokedex, and has revealed monster and item sprites, new moves and abilities.

While not every sprite is included in the demo, it appears that we now know that all Alolan form Pokemon will come from the original 151, there will be 8 of the mysterious Ultra Beasts (which continue to appear to be separate from regular Pokemon) and that the game's Legendaries will have pre-evolutions.

Rockstar Publisher Registers Domain for Red Dead Online

Rockstar has so far been in total control of the flow of information about its seemingly about-to-be-announced new Red Dead project, but today marks the first time info has appeared to have leaked regarding what might be in store.

Noticed by Twitter user Bill Wright, Rockstar parent company Take-Two has registered the domain name RedDeadOnline.com, which currently redirects to the Rockstar Newswire post featuring yesterday's second teaser image.

Report: United Front Games Closed Down

Vancouver-based studio United Front Games, developer of Sleeping Dogs, ModNation Racers and Disney Infinity 3.0's Marvel Battlegrounds, appears to be closing down.

The initial leaks began to surface on Twitter and NeoGAF, where several users were reporting the studio shuttering its doors. This was soon corroborated when Smash + Grab, the studio's current project, was removed from Steam just after a promotional free weekend.

Leonardo DiCaprio to Produce Captain Planet Movie

Leonardo DiCaprio's film production company Appian Way is partnering with Paramount to produce the long-awaited film adaptation of Captain Planet.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Jono Matt and Glen Powell are currently in talks to write the script. The studio is reportedly in negotiations to acquire the film rights, and should the deal go through, DiCapprio will produce alongside Powell. Whether or not Powell, who starred in the FOX show Scream Queens, will also have a role in the movie has yet to be revealed.

Pokemon: The First Movie Returning to Theaters

This year marks the 20th anniversary of the Pokemon franchise, and to celebrate, the first animated film will return to select theaters across the United States for a limited time.

According to the official Pokemon website, participating Cinemark theaters will be showing Pokemon: The First movie at over 200 locations on Saturday October 29 and Tuesday, November 1.

In addition to the full-length animated feature, which centers around Ash and Pikachu's confrontation with Mewtwo, the short that accompanied the movie's original theatrical release in 1999, Pikachu's Vacation, will be shown as well. Tickets are priced at $5 each and now available for purchase.
