The official Star Wars UK Twitter account announced the release date change for Rogue One. In fact, the same shift forward happened with Star Wars: The Force Awakens in the UK last year.

Indiana Jones 5: George Lucas Isn’t Involved

Creator George Lucas isn't involved with the story for Indiana Jones 5.

Screenwriter David Koepp, who's writing the fifth film in the series and also penned Kingdom of the Crystal Skull, told Collider he's not working with Lucas.

"He’s not, to my knowledge

," Koepp said. "I’ve had no contact with him.”

It's a notable departure for the franchise, as Lucas has helped create the story for the four previous Indiana Jones films. Back in March, Disney and Lucasfilm also didn't list Lucas as a contributor when officially announcing Indy 5.

Alien: Covenant’s Xenomorphs Have a New Name

Michael Fassbender, who's set to reprise his role as David in Alien: Covenant, has shared a new detail about Ridley Scott's upcoming sci-fi thriller -- the new name given to the film's Xenomorphs.

Warning: Alien: Covenant spoilers ahead.

In an interview with BBC Radio 2 (as reported by Birth.Movies.Death.), Fassbender appears to have inadvertently let the cat out of the bag a bit early, referring to the film's alien monster creatures as "Neomorphs."

A Fan Is Making a 3D Open-World Sonic Game

YouTube user The Great Lange recently released gameplay footage for a 3D open-world Sonic game that he's been creating, called Sonic Utopia.

"Sonic Utopia is an experiment that not only tries to expand on Sonic gameplay in an intuitive way in 3D, but also aims to capture the best of Sonic's style and tie it together in a cohesive experience," a description of the game explains. "Nearly everything in this demo, from art to sound to the gameplay engine, was made from scratch."

Seen in the footage below, Sonic Utopia marries several different ideas the Sonic series has implemented over the years. Taking on the classic blocky worlds and character models of the early Genesis games — Sonic the Hedgehog 1, 2, 3, as well as Sonic and Knuckles — The Great Lange adds more contemporary gameplay mechanics such as free roaming and 3D combat, as seen in later Sonic titles, such as the Sonic Adventure series and Sonic Unleashed.

Watch Dogs 2 Wants You to Get Mad

Marcus had finally reached the computer where he could access his criminal record. Having snuck through a building and silently disposed of multiple guards using his home-brewed, non-lethal arsenal, here it was. A young African American man, Marcus had been flagged, profiled by the system for a crime he didn’t commit. I, the player, am given control to delete his record, and replace Marcus’ striking features with a pudgy, deer-in-headlights white guy.

Later, Marcus gets drunk at the beach and throws his phone in the water.

Watch Dogs 2 is a big, fun, AAA experience that feels, after five hours of play, as much a step forward for the series as Assassin’s Creed 2 was to the original. But it’s also surprisingly anarchic, shot though with anti-establishment sensibilities and a sense of very real paranoia around the way our data is being wickedly manipulated in the modern world. Watch Dogs 2 is a blast to play, but it also wants you to get angry.

The Flash: Is Jesse Quick Ready to Be a Superhero?

Jesse Quick (Violett Beane) was introduced on The Flash early in Season 2, but a year later, she’s finally fulfilling her comic book destiny, as the character has gained her own speedster powers – and, in this week’s new episode, "The New Rogues," a costume to go along with them.

I spoke to Beane about Jesse’s transformation, the pros and cons of wearing a supersuit, and Jesse and Barry facing formidable villains like Mirror Master and Captain Cold together. Plus, we chatted about her role on HBO's excellent The Leftovers last year, and what it was like to work on that acclaimed Damon Lindelof series.

IGN: What was it like for you to be told, “Hey, we're going for it! She's getting the powers and she's getting the costume”?
