James Wan on Aquaman and Mera’s Love-Hate Chemistry
Aquaman director James Wan has come forward to shed light on the romance between Jason Momoa's Aquaman and Amber Heard's Mera, highlighting the "hate-turned-love" dynamic between the two.
Speaking with Bustle at the Australians in Film Awards, Wan said he wants the film to have a "classic action-adventure-romance aspect," and as such will serve as a sort of blend of Raiders of the Lost Ark and Romancing the Stone.

Was The Walking Dead Teasing Rick Losing His Hand?
At this point, had it happened, it probably would have been the most tame thing to happen on The Walking Dead's ultra-violent Season 7 premiere, but could it be that the show was teasing Rick losing his hand?
In the comics, the Governor had the honor of taking Rick's hand but that never came to pass on the show. With all the talk of Rick's "right hand" and Negan menacingly holding Rick's axe for most of the episode, it certainly seemed like Rick was about to become an involuntary southpaw.
The Walking Dead executive producer and director Greg Nicotero briefly addressed this theory during a conference call today, saying that it wasn't intentional...at first.
"That was not done consciously," he told IGN. "I think the right hand stuff was really written to play into what was going to happen at the end of the episode with Rick and Carl. But when we cut it together, and you see the axe go up, you could see it there and it wasn't something we had planned on. So it became something that we leaned into as we were editing the episode and playing it up. But it wasn't a conscious thing to make everyone think 'Oh, they're gonna cut Rick's hand off.'"
Walking Dead EP Addresses Violence in Season Premiere
With The Walking Dead's Season 7 premiere leaving fans traumatized, and polarized, EP Greg Nicotero, who directed the episode, took some time on a conference call to talk about the levels of extreme violence that have drawn criticism from some fans and critics. Did the premiere go too far by taking up a whole hour with bullying and brutality?
Spoilers follow for The Walking Dead's season premiere.
"Yes, it was intense," Nicotero noted. "You know a lot of people who read the comic book and read the graphic novels, there are moments that are pretty ingrained in their brain. I was standing next to Steven

Nintendo Switch Won’t Play Physical 3DS or Wii U Games
Nintendo Switch won't be able to play your library of Wii U discs or 3DS cartridges, as Nintendo has confirmed that its upcoming console doesn't feature physical backwards compatibility.
When asked whether or not Switch can play physical Wii U or 3DS games, a representative from Nintendo responded to IGN with a simple "no."
With regard to whether or not the console will offer digital backwards compatibility, the rep said that Nintendo has "nothing to announce on this topic" and "will make additional announcements about the Nintendo Switch hardware later, before the launch of the product."
As far as whether or not screen on the console can be used as a secondary display, akin to how the Wii U GamePad can display a map while the game is running on the television, the rep confirmed that "Nintendo Switch is dedicated to deliver a single-screen experience." As such, players will only be able to play on either the television or console screen at any given time, not both simultaneously.
The Walking Dead Star on Season Premiere Death Scene
Warning: Spoilers for the Walking Dead: Season 7 premiere follow...
One of The Walking Dead's tragic victims of Negan's barbed-wire bat, Lucille, took some questions today from critics and reporters to talk about leaving the show and, also, sharing his big dastardly death moment with a second surprise character.
Michael Cudlitz, aka Abraham Ford, opened up about his initial thoughts regarding Abraham also dying during what would turn out to be a huge moment for Glenn.
"I actually had some concerns about that going in," Cudlitz revealed, "because I'm a fan of both the graphic novels and the TV show. So as a fan of the TV show, when we were doing this I was very specific to Scott
Top 10 Scariest Pokemon
Pokemon by their nature are supposed to be cute creatures that act as allies to their human trainers, but dig beneath the surface and there's a lot of darkness to the adorable pocket monsters.
In the spirit of Halloween, we put together the 10 most terrifying Pokemon based on the information provided in the games and TV show. Based on this list, children in the Kanto, Johto, Hoenn, Sinnoh, Unova and Kalos -- and likely Alola -- regions would do better running from these Pokemon than trying to catch them.
Kadabra is a powerful psychic Pokemon that was introduced back in Generation 1, but its origin story has evolved over the years. Despite the fact it is an evolution of Abra, the Pokedex entries in both Emerald and FireRed show that Kadabra actually has a much more human origin. Both of those entries say Kadabra was actually once a boy with psychic abilities, who then transformed into a Pokemon.

The Biggest Character You May Have Missed in The Red Dead Redemption 2 Trailer
The great character reveal in last week’s Red Dead Redemption 2 trailer wasn’t one of the seven masked figures thundering toward us during the dramatic climax, nor any of the townspeople hunching in the muddy streets of a ramshackle town.
Images like this lone rider emerging from over a ridge appeal to our common vocabulary of Western myths.
The West is the central, essential character, with its vibrant personality and complex traits revealed in every thoughtfully choreographed shot. Its harshness is meant to be felt in the ever-present breezes whipping the grass and the bite of cold coming down the mountain into the pale prairie sun, smelt in pine needles and rotting carcasses. Its kindness is reflected in the soft light of the rising sun as a rider crosses a plain, its wildness in the seeping contrast of mountain and plain across a lonesome valley.
