PS4 Neo Will Reportedly Be Revealed in September
Multiple reports have emerged indicating that Sony will reveal its PS4 Neo console at a "technical showcase" in New York on September 7.
The much-discussed mid-generation upgrade was confirmed before E3, but Sony decided to hold off on an official unveiling.
Now, both Gameblog and Vice Gaming have reported that anonymous sources inform them that the showcase will act as an official reveal - although Vice explains that as recently as a few weeks ago, Sony was still deciding what exactly will be shown.
First Photo of Gotham’s New Poison Ivy
New cast photos have been released for Gotham: Season 3, including updated looks at characters like Jim Gordon, Bruce Wayne, Penguin, Selina Kyle and Fish Mooney - and the first look at the show's new version of Poison Ivy.
The Ivy photo comes via TV Insider, who debuted the image of Maggie Geha as Ivy Pepper/Poison Ivy. Geha (Ted 2) is replacing Clare Foley, who played Ivy in the first two seasons - and apparently there will be a plot explanation for why she's suddenly older, "triggered by a run-in with an escaped monster from Indian Hill," says TV Insider.
2TB Xbox One S Nearly Sells Out, and Microsoft Isn’t Making More
The only available size and design of Xbox One S at this time has now sold out at most leading retailers, and Microsoft will reportedly not be replenishing stock.
The 2TB white edition of the slimmed-down console launched last week, but Eurogamer reports that Microsoft will not be manufacturing further units, and that the only similarly sized version to be released will be the red Gears of War limited edition, due to start shipping in mid-September.

Suicide Squad: Enough Joker Material for a Whole Movie
Jared Leto appears disappointed by his lack of screen time in Suicide Squad, especially considering he says there was enough footage for an entire Joker movie.
In an interview with Edith Bowman on BBC Radio 5 Live, Leto said "I think that I brought so much to the table in every scene that it was probably more about filtering all of the insanity, because I wanted to give a lot of options, and I think there’s probably enough footage in this film for a Joker movie."
Leto also mentions he had been lobbying for the film to be rated R, even while they were shooting: “I always wished this film was rated R, and I had actually said that when we were starting. It felt like if a film was ever going to be rated R it should be the one about the villains,” he said.
iD Still Doesn’t Know if Quake Champions Will Be Free-to-Play
Creative director of iD Software, Tim Willits says the developer still hasn't decided whether Quake Champions will be a free-to-play game.
Despite a glut of new details about the game emerging at QuakeCon last week, the upcoming reboot of the classic shooter series is still an uncertain pitch, it seems:
“I can definitely say that
is a really hard problem," said Willits in a PC Gamer interview. "And so for us we’re trying to figure out exactly what people want more of, and how they perceive it. And I’m not even trying to be cagey! It’s not like we know and just aren’t trying to tell anybody, we don’t know and we’re still trying to figure this out.”
Io is Planning 3 Seasons of Hitman
Io Interactive is planning to have three seasons of Hitman, however Season 2 has not yet been announced.
This news comes from the official Hitman Twitter account in response to a fan question about a second season. In addition, the account said remaking old levels for the new game is "always a possibility," but for now the team is focusing on creating new content.
Io has been consistently releasing new content for Hitman since the release of the first episode in March. Gary Busey was an elusive target for a time thanks to a fan vote, and there were also a number of bonus missions which remixed some existing levels.
$130 Battlefield 1 Collector’s Edition Doesn’t Come With the Game
Amazon's exclusive collector's edition for Battlefield 1 costs $129.99 and doesn't include Battlefield 1.
Available for all three of the game's formats, the item's listing is pretty specific: "Battlefield 1 Exclusive Collector's Edition - Does Not Include Game".
So what does a game-less video game collector's edition include? Let's see (I'll help annotate):
- 14" statue (not the game)
- Exclusive steelbook (not the game)
