Advice on Being Batman By Batman

Batman is one of the great roles in our popular culture. Grief, deception, that undertow of madness - it's Hamlet, but in a cape and with greater conviction.

Several actors have played the role, but Kevin Conroy has been Batman for 24 years. According to my crude IMDb reckoning, he's played the character 258 times.* For many, myself included, Conroy is Batman. Whenever I read an issue of Batman, I hear his voice.

More actors will assume the role – currently, Ben Affleck and Troy Baker have taken on the character in other high-profile productions – but what can they learn from the man who has been Batman for nearly a quarter of a century?

I recently spoke to Conroy, whose latest performance as the Dark Knight comes in the recently-released Batman: The Killing Joke, and this is his advice on the role of Batman.

Server Trouble May Have Affected No Man’s Sky Player Meeting

No Man's Sky creator Sean Murray has tweeted about yesterday's slightly anticlimactic meeting of players, suggesting that there's more to the space sim's ability to handle two games intersecting than we've seen so far.

The developer - who has previously stated that the chances of meeting another player in the game's 18 quintillion-planet universe is "pretty much zero" - was understandably surprised at how fast it happened:

Fantastic Four’s Miles Teller Up for a Sequel

Remember 2015’s Fantastic Four reboot? According to a recent interview, Miles Teller – who played scientist Reed Richards – says he’d definitely be up for a sequel.

Speaking to JoBlo about returning for a second outing as Mr. Fantastic, Teller says:

"Yeah, for sure. I loved the cast, I loved the characters. I think it's such an interesting dynamic. I love how much they really need to rely on each other. This Avengers thing, they've kind of created their own Fantastic Four in a way, Marvel's first family. Their powers can't just exist on their own, you need Thor to do this, the Hulk to do his thing. So yeah, absolutely, I would do another one."

The Americans Creators on Plan for Final Seasons

It was announced earlier this year that The Americans -- which finally broke through into the major Emmy category nominations this year -- would be ending in two years with Season 6 and the show's executive producers, Joe Weinberg and Joel Fields, discussed how they’re approaching the final two seasons at the TCA (Television Critics Association) press tour today.

Weisberg explained, “We figured out roughly what would happen in both seasons,” before concentrating on the upcoming Season 5. Weisberg said he still felt Season 5 will stand alone as its own season, but at the same time, “it sets everything up for the finale.”

Two No Man’s Sky Players Visit Same Planet at Same Time

Two No Man's Sky players have attempted and failed to meet up in No Man's Sky after one player happened upon a planet already discovered by another.

A thread on the No Man's Sky subreddit, as well as a Twitch live stream, show players thesadcactus and Psytokat coordinating to meet-up in front of the same NPC on the same planet's outpost. However, when the two appeared in the same location, they were unable to see each other.

The players also were in the same location at different points in the game's day/night cycle, as noted by Polygon, which suggests they both could be playing on different servers and are therefore on different instances of the same planet.
