Two New Characters Confirmed For Injustice 2

Wonder Woman and Blue Beetle have been officially confirmed as playable characters for Injustice 2.

Warner Brothers announced it today at their Comic-Con 2016 panel, and confirmed it with a tweet shortly thereafter.

Some early story details have begun to emerge as well. Tom Taylor, author of the upcoming Injustice 2 comic book series, said at the panel that Gorilla Grodd and Supergirl have very large parts in the story, and this tweet further states that she "rockets to earth between the two games."

Civil War II Will Change Marvel Forever

In its three issues, Civil War II has seen a battle with Thanos, the death of two heroes, and an Avenger put on trial. During today's panel at Comic-Con, Editor-in-Chief Axel Alonso assured fans that the event was just getting started.

“It’s gonna change the universe in a profound way. It will be a very different Marvel universe when it's over.”

While that's the obligatory catch phrase of literally every event comic ever written, Alonso and the rest of the panel, which included Director of Character and Content Development Sana Amanat and writers Matthew Rosenberg, Marc Guggenheim, G. Willow Wilson, and David Walker seemed certain they had enough tricks up their collective sleeves to make Civil War II a landmark comic event.

Get Ready for Another Batman/TMNT Crossover

Good news for fans of the recent crossover comics Batman/Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and Star Trek/Green Lantern: The Spectrum War. DC and IDW will be continuing their partnership and debuting new crossovers in late 2016.

First up will be another Batman/TMNT mash-up. This new mini-series won't be a sequel to the first, however. Whereas the original book paired the New 52 Batman characters with the Turtles from IDW's current TMNT comic, this crossover will combine the casts of Batman: The Animated Series and Nickelodeon's CG-animated TMNT cartoon.
