Your Photo Guide to All the New Network Shows
In the past week, we got the finalized list of new TV shows coming to the broadcast networks (CBS, ABC, NBC, FOX and CW) for the upcoming 2016-2017 season. The full slate include new headlining gigs for Kiefer Sutherland, Hayley Atwell, Joel McHale, Kevin James and NCIS' Michael Weatherly and no less than THREE new time travel shows.
Plus, there are reboots based on popular movies like Lethal Weapon, The Exorcist, Frequency, and Time After Time (one of the aforementioned time travel adventures) and TV reboots like CBS's new stab at MacGyver and FOX's attempt to keep the 24 franchise alive with a new hero and the return of Prison Break.
On the comedy front, Always Sunny's Kaitlin Olson heads to FOX with The Mick, Fargo's Allison Tolman lands on ABC with Downward Dog, and Kristen Bell and Ted Danson look to bring good things to NBC with The Good Place.
Zelda Cosplays Bring A Link Between Worlds To Life
TJ Cosplay and Aretmis Costuming have brought Zelda and Hilda from A Link Between Worlds to life in a recent cosplay photoshoot.
The costumes took around three months to make, with the cosplayers saying, "We worked pretty closely together to make sure they both looked coherent and like they were a set."
Check out the pictures, which were, fittingly, taken in a forest - click right to see more:
The photographer featured is Sean Fernandez.
TJ Cosplay - the Hilda cosplayer - said the hardest part for her was constructing a staff, "It was my first time constructing a prop like that, and my first time wiring and setting up the electronics, as well as welding the base for the triforce. Thankfully it all worked as I had imagined."
We Smelled Mass Effect, and It Was Weird
Feeling disgust is rarely a fun thing, but Mass Effect: New Earth somehow made that work.
Mass Effect: New Earth is a “4D Holographic Journey” at the amusement park California’s Great America in Santa Clara, California. Like other 4D rides, riders wear 3D glasses and sit in seats that spray water and scents, poke riders with bumps in the seat, and shoot bursts of air at riders' legs and feet. It’s gimmicky, but surprisingly immersive.
Warning, spoilers for the ride below.
Upon entering the ride I found myself reunited with Commander Shepard's biggest — and craziest — fan, Conrad Verner. An actor playing Conrad stood in front of the screen and guided us through our adventure. Somehow, Conrad managed to become captain of a tourist ship going to Terra Nova via Mass Relay, and I was on it. As you could imagine, it didn't go well. Shortly after getting to Terra Nova, the Reaper attack begins.
New Assassin’s Creed Movie Poster Revealed
Ubisoft Motion Pictures and 20th Century Fox have debuted a new Assassin's Creed movie poster showing Michael Fassbender's character perched high above the city.
The film, which will premiere December 21, sets Fassbender as Callum Lynch—a man who discovers he's descended from a 15th Century assassin. Using a technology that unlocks genetic memories, Lynch is able to use the knowledge and skill gained from his past to take on a "powerful Templar organization" in the present day.
Flash, Arrow, Supergirl, Legends Mega-Crossover Coming
One probably guessed this was on the way, given Supergirl's new move from CBS to The CW for its second season -- and The CW releasing their fall 2016 schedule featuring four of its five weekday nights kicking off with a DC Comics series -- but a giant four-show mega crossover event is headed our way that will bring together Supergirl, The Flash, Arrow and DC's Legends of Tomorrow.
On a conference call with the press this morning, CW head Mark Pedowitz confirmed that all four of their Greg Berlanti-produced DC series will join up for one big story. Said Pedowitz, "Just imagine what our superhero crossover episode is going to look like come December," while also referring to the crossover as "the biggest one ever."
Daily Deals: Uncharted 4 Discount, Xbox One Digital Games, Overwatch
Here's a deal worthy of Nathan Drake himself: a healthy 18% discount on the latest Uncharted, no Amazon Prime subscription required. This is a pretty great discount for such a stellar game that's been out for just a little more than a week. I'm still working my way through the story - as long I can knock it out before Overwatch arrives, I'll be happy.

As reported by VideoGamer, Sport - the first new-gen entry in the Gran Turismo series - will include four sets of cars, made up of 137 "super-premium" real-world and fantasy vehicles.
19 tracks (including the return of dirt tracks) will be included, with 27 possible layouts.

Omnibus Special Edition Comes With an Actual Bus
Devolver Digital and Buddy Cops have announced a $7,500 special edition of upcoming game Omnibus.
According to the Omnibus website, this "Ultimate Bus Driver Edition" will come with the game, the original soundtrack... and an actual MCI bus, which Devolver says "may or may not have been used to motion capture lifelike bus movement for the game."
There's only one available, and the purchase link appears to simply be an email to publisher Devlover Digital's CEO, so who knows? You might already have missed your chance as some other budding bus owner silently snaffles it.
The physics-based bus game is a bit like Crazy Taxi, a bit like Goat Simulator and a bit like the movie Speed. It's about "the most powerful bus in the universe that can't stop or even slow down for reasons incomprehensible to the simple human mind."
