Destiny Events Postponed After Discovery of Glitch
Destiny's next Trials of Osiris and Iron Banner events have been postponed because of an exploit that allowed players to gain unlimited heavy weapon ammo.
On the Bungie blog, community manager David "DeeJ" Dague said:
"When we learned that some Guardians had discovered a way to earn unlimited rockets, we knew it was time for a bug hunt. Rather than punish players for playing the game in a way we didn’t predict, we’ve been waging an investigation into our code. These things happen, so please don’t panic. We’re on the case - and we’ve slayed more dreaded bugs than these.
Destiny Rise of Iron Expansion Leaked
Marketing materials have leaked Destiny's next expansion, 'Rise of Iron'.
A Rise of Iron poster, which portrays Lord Saladan with a huge hammer, originally sprung up on Reddit. Sources close to Kotaku later confirmed its authenticity, saying that the expansion will feature a new raid - "likely fallen-themed" - and will be "larger than both year-one DLC packs".

Why Preacher Doesn’t Begin at the Same Point as the Comics
When Preacher's pilot begins, it's going to feel a bit different than the start of Garth Ennis and Steve Dillion's source material.
Whereas the first issue of Preacher launches main characters Jesse, Cassidy and Tulip on a road tripping adventure around the US, Season 1 of the new AMC series is largely set in the West Texas town of Annville. In many ways, this season will serve as a prequel of sorts to what fans know in the comics.
"In some ways in terms of Jesse’s journey most of all, it’s a prequel in how we think of it," explained showrunner Sam Catlin. "We really wanted to spend time with Jesse as a preacher. He’s a preacher in name only in the comic book. We never actually see him preach, and so we really liked this idea of having him believe in God and trust God and have an investment in God and see that, and then what happens when the rug is sort of pulled out from under him."

Black Panther: Don’t Believe John Boyega Casting Rumors
Despite recent rumors suggesting John Boyega may appear in Black Panther, it looks like the Star Wars actor isn't involved in Marvel Studios' upcoming comic book flick after all.
Boyega's reps have confirmed to The Hollywood Reporter that Boyega "is not and will not" join Chadwick Boseman, Lupita Nyong’o and the recently cast Michael B. Jordan in Black Panther. Additionally, the actor's U.K. agent debunked the rumor on Twitter.
CW’s Riverdale Really Looks like Archie Meets Twin Peaks
The CW debuted trailers for their three new series for the 2016-2017 season at the network Upfront today, including the Archie comics-based Riverdale (From The Flash and Arrow's Greg Berlanti), plus Frequency and No Tomorrow.
You’ll find the trailers for Frequency and No Tomorrow below, but with the trailer for Riverdale not posted online (it’s debuting midseason), read on for my description of what was shown.
The Riverdale trailer begins with evocative images of the town, including a flowing river and happy high school kids, but with a “there’s something not quite right” vibe to it all, as the images flash by quickly. We’re told in voice over “This story is about a town. A small town. Safe, decent, innocent…”
Halo Forge Coming to Windows 10 This Year
After redesigning Halo 5: Guardians' Forge system "from the ground up" for the Xbox One, 343 Industries will bring Forge — Halo 5: Guardians Edition to Windows 10.
The creation tool—which will be free—will include keyboard and mouse support, increased resolution, and the ability to publish creations to Xbox One. Windows 10 users will also be able to recruit friends to help built, test, and play Forge maps.
"Forge on the PC will finally give the mouse/keyboard editing precision the community has always been clamoring for," 343 Industries UGC director Tom French said. "On top of that, an updated and optimized UI geared towards mouse interactions makes a lot of the inputs in Forge easier/faster than before."
Poe a ‘Far Bigger Deal’ in Star Wars: Episode 8
Oscar Isaac's Poe Dameron will play a much larger role in Star Wars: Episode VIII as each member of the film's heroic cast is tested.
Rolling Stone reports that Isaac's character is undoubtedly a "far bigger deal" in the followup to The Force Awakens. While rumors suggest his role was beefed up in response to his performance, Isaac claims it's because he's no longer planned to be killed off.
"In the new film, there's a lot more to do," Isaac said of his role in Episode VIII. "What happens now is the heroes get tested. All three of them," he added, noting Poe, Rey (Daisy Ridely) and Finn (John Boyega) will all "get tested immensely."
