Affleck Says Batman ‘Inspired’ by Wonder Woman

Ben Affleck has explained how Wonder Woman impacts his character in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.

Affleck told EW that the third member of the DC comic trinity is important to his character's development, especially given his cynicism after years of fighting crime. Spoilers follow.

Affleck said that the Batman of this continuity is world-weary and has grown cynical, and even bitter from the loss of a Robin. All this fuels his suspicion towards Superman, providing the major conflict, but Wonder Woman has been fighting injustice for much longer and hasn't grown jaded.

Guardians Vol. 2 Rumors About Stallone’s Costume

Following reports earlier this month suggesting Sylvester Stallone will appear in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, a new rumor has surfaced with details on his possible costume, as well as claims regarding the return of another Marvel character.

Warning: Possible Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 spoilers ahead.

An anonymous source from the set of Guardians Vol. 2 told On Location Vacations Stallone is indeed in the movie and has been filming scenes in a costume that "looks a lot like Judge Dredd."

Superman lost his powers months ago at the start of the “Truth” arc, but recently he realized that if he over-exposed himself to Kryptonite then it would give him a temporary set of different powers. His ultimate plan was for the Kryptonite to burn away his damaged cells that were causing him to not be able to use his original powers, not unlike chemotherapy.

The Intensely Personal Reason Akiva Goldsman Is Making This TV Show

Akiva Goldsman has proven over the course of his career that he can balance blockbuster filmmaking with earnest historical retellings; he's the man who scripted I, Robot and The Da Vinci Code, and also won an Academy Award for A Beautiful Mind. With WGN America's new slavery drama Underground, Goldsman is trying to blend the two sides of his filmography together, and for intensely personal reasons.

Underground is set in the pre-Civil War South and follows a group of slaves who seek to escape from their life of servitude, and their allies who work to help their 600 mile journey to the North. When Goldsman read the screenplay from showrunners Misha Green and Joe Pokaski, he found the series "an opportunity to try to be entertaining about something that's personal," as it was for him.

Seth Rogen in Talks to Produce Where’s Waldo Movie

Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg—who've previously worked together on The Interview and This Is The End—are currently in talks to produce MGM's live-action Where's Waldo? movie.

According to Deadline, the duo have been in discussions with the studio for the past week and "the deal is getting closer."

Assassin’s Creed Movie Statue Announced

Kernel has revealed the first Assassin's Creed statue based on the upcoming film, and it's being made by TriForce.

Officially called the 'Triforce Aguilar Premiere Scale Statue', it's a quarter scale, hand-painted polystone statue of the movie's main character, Aguilar, in a standard assassin pose.

Grimm’s 100th Episode Wesen Has a Unique Origin Story

Grimm did something special with its upcoming 100th episode: it let a fan design a Wesen key to the story's plot.

Meet the Wettbewerbsgewinner, a creature designed by Jessica Short that will appear in Friday, March 11's episode "Into the Schwarzwald." The Brooklyn, NY artist submitted her work as part of last fall's Tumblr promotion #Grimme Your Best Shot, and the producers of the show picked her entry as the winner. Check out her original submission, and see how it matches up to the official Grimm version of the Wesen.

Michael Keaton Cast in American Assassin

Birdman and Spotlight actor Michael Keaton has joined the cast of CBS Films and Lionsgate's upcoming movie adaptation of American Assassin.

Keaton will play Stan Hurley, a Cold War veteran who "would be the most feared training officer in the CIA if more than a handful of people at the agency knew that he existed."

"Stan Hurley is one of the pillars of the Vince Flynn universe and a favorite character for millions of readers, so casting him was a daunting challenge," the film's director, Michael Cuesta, said in a statement. "To have an actor as intelligent and gifted as Michael Keaton bring this beloved character to life is a thrill for everyone involved."
