Transformers: Earth Wars Is Autobots vs. Decepticons on Mobile
Transformers: Earth Wars is coming to iOS and Android devices in the second quarter of 2016.
The real-time strategy game uses "fast-paced gameplay and beautiful 3D animation" to pit Autobots against Decepticons. Players choose to wage war as either side, with Optimus Prime leading the Autobots as they battle to destroy the evil forces of the Decepticons, led by Megatron.
After picking a side, players can then put together a "powerful team of playable characters," raid enemy bases for stockpiles of Energon, build a space-bridge to Cybertron for reinforcements, "all while playing in real-time against other players around the globe."
Transformers: Earth Wars also features art "inspired by the Transformers Generations Prime Wars trilogy series," with dialogue written comic-writer Simon Furman. The original voice of Optimus Prime, Peter Cullen, along with Megatron voice actor Frank Welker, are lending their talents to the game.

According to Serebii, the new Pokemon was shown off in the latest issue of CoroCoro, and goes by the name of Magiana (マギアナ).
The site goes on to note Magiana is a “Man-Made” Pokemon, presumably in a similar bracket to Mewtwo, and has a “metallic body.” Also, Magiana was created over 500 years ago and is being chased by Volcanion, who apparently knows Magiana’s secret, what ever that is.
New Hitman Seems Ready to Please Old-School Fans
It’s not every day that the head of a veteran AAA-game-making studio tells you to “please try and break it – that’s what makes the game fun!” But that’s exactly what Io Interactive boss Hannes Seifert told me before I sat down to play an early build of the episodic Hitman reboot. It’s heading into beta this week, and I was eager to see how the series would return to its sandbox-y roots.
I started with Agent 47’s tutorial: a prologue set 20 years ago, back when he was passing tests to become an agent. The bullets are rubber and you’re not technically killing anyone – probably the only time in the game you’re not registering an actual body count. It’s a capable enough tutorial – I got a disguise on a dock, snuck into a yacht party, pretended to bartend, then followed my target until he was alone and choked him to death with my garrote – but I was eager to get to the real thing.
Mario Kart x Star Wars Mashup Looks Like The Best Game Ever
Mario Kart x Star Wars might just be the best video game mashup ever conceived.
In a video by Dark Pixel Digital, you can see what such a team up might look like were it ever to happen.
The video shows the cast of Mario Kart racing through space in X-Wings, Y-Wings, and generally anything from the Star Wars universe that can fly. The race starts at Rainbow Road, before the racers jump to lightspeed and end up on Tatooine, and even, the Death Star.
In other Star Wars-related news, did you know Kylo Ren’s force rumble noise is actually a cat? Meowth, that's right.
