The Last of Us Art Director Joins OtherSide
Nate Wells, the art director behind hit titles like BioShock Infinite, Rise of the Tomb Raider, and The Last of Us, has joined OtherSide Entertainment to work on Underworld Ascendant.
OtherSide was recently formed by the creative team behind Ultima Underworld, and seeks to create a spiritual successor to the beloved role-playing series with Underworld Ascendant.
In addition to having worked at Naughty Dog, Crystal Dynamics, and Irrational Games, Wells also spent time at LookingGlass on Thief and System Shock 2 with Paul Neurath, who is now the co-founder of OtherSide.

Star Wars: Do Kylo Ren and General Hux Get Along?
This week's deluge of new, officially revealed details on Star Wars: The Force Awakens continues with more on villains Kylo Ren and General Hux as well as the First Order's Starkiller Base.
Domnhall Gleeson said his character, Genral Hux, is "kind of opposite Kylo Ren.” The Ex Machina and Harry Potter actor told Entertainment Weekly, “They have their own relationship, which is individual and unusual. One of them is strong in different ways than the other. They’re both vying for power.”
EW went so far as to refer to the duo as "frenemies."
“There’s an air of superiority, and being better than those people around you," Gleeson said of Hux's personality, describing his character as "pretty ruthless" and that he doesn't have his own signature weapon as he lets others do his dirty work.
Justice League, Wonder Woman Shoot Dates Revealed
The filming dates for both Wonder Woman and Justice League: Part One have been revealed.
Producer Charles Roven confirmed that Wonder Woman will begin filming later this month and that Justice League won't be far behind. "We’re actually gonna start shooting
towards the end of
… We are shooting in the U.K. and in Italy," Roven told Collider.
"We’re making most of Wonder Woman
and we’re also making most of Justice League there, JL One… We’re definitely gonna be shooting Part One in the first or second quarter of next year."
Additionally, Heroic Hollywood has a more specific date, citing several sources that claim pre-production for Justice League: Part One will begin on January 18 in London.
Gambit Movie Has Found Its Director
Gambit has reportedly found its new director in Doug Liman as the Edge of Tomorrow director enters final talks to helm the project for Fox.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Liman has already had several meetings with the studio, including one held just Thursday.
In November we heard Liman was "on an inside track" to direct following the departure of Rupert Wyatt back in September. Joe Cornish, Shane Black and F. Gary Gray were all said to be in the running as well.

Google Play Books Is Making It Easier to Read Comics
Google is adding some new features to make reading comics books easier on Android and iOS devices.
According to the official blog, Google will be adding a scrolling, landscape layout to Play Books, making comics easier to read on mobiles.

Curated pages and recommended comics are also being added, that will be organized by issue and volume. In addition, there will be a number of free comic issues on offer for a limited time.
Aquaman Movie Hires Conjuring 2 Screenwriter
Warner Bros. upcoming Aquaman movie has found an additional screenwriter in David Leslie Johnson.
The extent to which Johnson is involved in the project, however, has yet to be detailed, as writers Will Beall and Kurt Johnstad were both penning separate scripts before Johnson was brought into the fold.
One source told The Hollywood Reporter that Johnson will serve as "a third rail on the development track," but other sources have told the outlet he's instead streamlining the project with film director James Wan.
Johnson has worked with Warner Bros. before, having written both Wrath of the Titans and Red Riding Hood for the studio. He's also no stranger to Wan, having worked with the director on The Conjuring 2: The Enfield Poltergeist.
Ronda Rousey Is EA Sports UFC 2’s Cover Athlete
The global cover athlete for EA Sports UFC 2 is Ronda Rousey, Electronic Arts has revealed.
Accompanying the announcement, the publisher has released a new trailer, showcasing the all-star athlete in action. See it below.
In addition, the official box art has been revealed. Here's a look at the covers for both the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 versions.
For those who don't already know, Rousey is the UFC's defending champion and undefeated female fighter, who EA Sports celebrates as being "the most dominant and recognized fighter in the world."
