Street Fighter 5 Tutorial Mode Features Young Ken and Ryu

The Street Fighter V tutorial mode will take players learning the basics of the game back to Ken and Ryu's roots.

In an official trailer released by Capcom, the iconic fighters are shown in what appears to be a flashback to their early Alpha (Street Fighter Zero in Japan) days. The footage includes Japanese voice-acting, but the tutorial mode did show up for a short time in beta server stress tests in the West earlier this month. Footage of the tutorial mode with English voice-acting can be found online.

Players walk through the basic movements and attacks of Street Fighter V in the tutorial, while playing as Ryu. Both characters are shown in their Alpha/Zero costumes, which leads to the possibility they may be unlockable costumes at some point.

Marvel’s Jessica Jones is This Week’s TV Highlight

The week before Thanksgiving is looking rather binge-heavy as both Netflix and Amazon unleash big, notable projects - with Netflix's entry being its second Marvel series, Jessica Jones.

Jessica Jones which, as you might expect, is our big TV/streaming highlight of the week. As Marvel's most mature story to date, Jessica Jones is based on Brian Michael Bendis' 28 issue comic series Alias, which ran from 2001 to 2004. Krysten Ritter stars as Jessica Jones, a lower-level superhero whose attempts at altruism and heroics were cut short by a mind controlling devil named Kilgrave - aka The Purple Man. Kilgrave's abilities and obsession allowed him to puppet Jessica, keep her prisoner, and leave her with a substantial amount of PTSD. Now a boozing private eye in Hell's Kitchen, Jessica must gather all her strength and courage to face down Kilgrave one last time.

Fallout 4 appears to have a game-breaking bug, as several users have reported an issue with a specific settlement quest that causes the game to crash.

Reports of the bug are detailed on Bethesda's official forums, in which one user explains how traveling to Mosignor Plaza for a specific quest is effectively breaking the game.

"Been playing for around 10 hours now with no problems and now doing a Settlement quest where I have to go to Monsignor but everytime I go there it crashes straight to the desktop without any error message, there isn't one in the Event Viewer either," forum user JoeBBBB explains.

Console, PC, or Steam Machine, Which Offers the Best Value?

Gaming is an expensive hobby, there's no doubt about it. After sinking in the initial investment, the cost of games, subscriptions, and peripherals add to the growing price tag of gaming. If you aren't paying attention, you might find yourself spending a lot more than $400 just to take the next step in the evolution of gaming. So with so many choices out there right now, what platform, PC, Steam Machine, or console, offers the best value in gaming? Let's take a look.

We're going to be comparing the hardware of the PS4, Xbox One, Alienware Steam Machine, and a home-built PC. This obviously isn't a 1:1 comparison. While you can whittle down component costs on a custom PC through careful shopping, the other 3 have custom hardware as part of the packaged deal. The hypothetical PC we put together for comparison is better than a pre-built console in most areas, but lacks an optical drive and other pack-ins, and costs around $400-$430. The PC also doesn't include an OS. Linux doesn't cost anything but your time, but if you want Windows, add another $80-$200.

When asked about the studio's plans after Uncharted 4 and whether or not its next game will be out this console generation, Naughty Dog community strategist Arne Meyer told Finder: "I would hope so. I would hope we would release a game pretty soon.

"Yeah, our development cycles aren’t too long so and I have no idea how long this console generation really is going to last, but, yeah, there’s no doubt it should be in this console generation for sure."

Why Trainspotting 2 Has Taken 20 Years

Danny Boyle has been discussing his efforts to make a sequel to Trainspotting, explaining that following an aborted attempt 10 years ago, the time is now right to bring the cast and crew back together for more drug-fuelled fun.

“People’s relationship with it is very interesting. I can’t remember many other films where, when people come up to you, they talk about the character’s names. Not the actors who were playing them. They remember the actors who are playing them, but they don’t define it as ‘Oh, that part that Tom Cruise played.’ Or ‘Oh, that part that Leonardo DiCaprio played.’ They just remember the names. They talk to you as though they know these people. They talk about Begbie and Spud and… not just one name. They’re weird names as well, and not that easy to remember. So they have a personal relationship with it which is wonderful.
